1. One of the reasons I love watching your videos is you don't BS. You show when you fly well and when you make mistakes. Keep that up. 2. I would love if you put your starting and ending airport codes in the description box. You find some wonderful airports to fly into and out of and I would love to fly them as well, as I am sure others would.

It is a nice addition to my virtual fleet. The Rans are flown worldwide and finally one .... without the G3X! There is also a paintkit, and that's a good idea for making real life liveries. I also appreciate the possibility of the two version of the undercarriage.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I didn't think a Rans world ever get simulated in MSFS. If it makes you feel any better, I wouldn't say the Coyote is very forgiving + there are no VGs or wing tips for crazy STOL performance. It may have default sounds, but at least it sounds like the real thing n this case.

Seems like a fun plane for me to do island hops with, and it even has a Garmin. Plus the visibility is great from the cockpit. So yes, another plane on my to buy list.😁

Hey AvAngel Great review, fun as always. As a real world Rans Pilot I have offered some advice to developer, to increase the accuracy of the flight model. Hopefully this is something that will be updated and refined over time. You are indeed correct in that the real aircraft doesn't "Bite" and Spin anywhere as much. In a power off stall it just mushes forward and I can keep the wings level using the rudder. The main difference i find between the Rans and the Super Cub I fly, is that the Rans Doesn't "Float" like a Cub ... for a Wheelie Landing I approach at 60mph and for a 3 point, I approach at 50mph. As you flare you will decrease speed and lift very quickly unlike a Cub. I feel in your review you were trying to push it too close to the stall which was unnecessary. The Rans will do a great slip even with full flap, but try it at 60mph and you will have the aileron authority to keep the aircraft tracking well. As always, keep up the good work. Lovely video, as always :) Unfortunately (for the dev) I have enough okay but not great small taildraggers in my hangar. If I want to be killed in the turn to final, the //42 Kitfox does that quite well, although unfortunately the last thing I see in that plane is the awful Asobo G3X. So the Rans would at least be a small improvement.

Looks nice, but it is very similar to the Kitfox and the Zenith, both of which I already have, so I don't really have any use fo this one.

Just purchased this but word of warning to other Flight Simmers that never read the manual just like me , you must fly this on the Modern flight model not the Legacy . If you try and fly her under the Legacy mode she will do lots of weird things . I really like this plane , it can fly real slow and stop dead short hence the STOL . How ever it has plenty of power and it's not slow as GA aircraft go in this category . Nice review again good addon , good price and good fun .

The rudder control in this sim is very challenging let alone in a STOL aircraft

Considering the size of those flaps, you should have stuck a hand out of the window at an angle for some extra lift at those low speeds. :p

I enjoyed that. I'm also glad that this lovely little aircraft has claimed a victim other than me! I think it's great. There's a depth to the flight model that many lack in MSFS.

Nice but Id rather have the Maule STOL...I like the iconic trade name...guess Im fickle. Idaho is gorgeous, I must fly there soon! WOW, that landing was the best show of STOL performance ever! EPIC AA!
