Flyers Lightning 2004 ECF Game 6 

This is absolutely how I remember this team. I’m in my early 30’s now and Keith Primeau was the captain that brought me back. I still can hear Bill Clement say the Legend of Keith Primeau. That game 7 hurt my heart, because I felt like they didn’t lose, they just ran out of time. Seeing Kim Johnnson chase down the last clearing and the time expired. You could see it on everyone’s face they gave their all but weren’t ready to go home.

Curious on your guy's opinion on the Brind'amour for Premeau. Flyers lost that imo but I completely agree that his 2004 playoff performance was one of the best I've ever seen. Maybe if they win the cup you call the trade even, but canes got the hardware.

I take the Primeau or Big E years wearing the C over the years Giroux wearing the C.

I was in the 5th grade when this game happen, and ironically my class was taking a field trip to Philly and then later that night, watched most of the game before falling asleep. And when I heard Flyers forced a game 7, I rested easy that night and missed school the next day via exhaustion

you're welcome man. I think I saw that video you were talking about, and I had to stop watching after about 15 seconds; absolutely unbearable. That's partly why I made this video; to show all the goals from this amazing game (with an emphasis on Primeau and Gagne) without any awful music overpowering it. They used to give out free Chick-Fil-A or something when they scored 4 goals in a game. It was possibly the most dramatic, clutch Flyers goal of the 21st century but hey, gotta keep the brands happy
