Pretty raw gopro video with minimal edittng. No cameraman all of this is filmed via gopro strapped to my head! No affiliation with any vendors. All equipment you see is purchased by me.
YES! Flying is so FUN and relaxing! I will learn more tricks in the future as I've learned the roll and loop but nothing too hard. I just have safe always ready and fly about 2-3 mistakes high when I decide to ret flying without safe. :)
Love the earoscout!! It would be nice for a new s3 version that would accommodate 3s & 4s, maybe a bit larger scale also.. Still the earoscout has to be one of my favorite fixed wing trainers!! Good video 📹 🎥
I've got the AeroScout and the original 1.5 Timber and, yes, the AeroScout is louder. On the AeroScout Ihe rudder/nose wheel servo burnt out so I replaced the bad servo with a new metal gear servo. Still learning to land the AeroScout without bouncing it 3-4 times on the grass runway. My other three models have flaps and I'm just so used to using flaps to help me on landings.
Hi Bill! I was bouncing the Aeroscout too!! I find that with the Aeroscout it seems to like about 10-15% throttle on landing and tames the bouncing I was getting. Had a close call yesterday as I realized too late I was coming in too fast and over ran my runway!!! Luckily missed a pole and things were ok. Whew! lol
Pretty long! I have the timer set to 5 minutes but honestly when I check the capacity left on my packs I typically have 55% or more still left. I don't full throttle the whole time and let the battery recover. Plus flying with the wind I tend to just maybe give it 50% throttle. I guess battery will last depending on time spent at high throttle. Which is definitely fun but your battery might complain! lol
The AeroScout doesn't come with that feature. What you could do though is add one of those small voltage/alarm to the balance lead of your battery. Lots of folks have been doing that long before Spectrum came out with its smart batteries and ESCs and receivers.
