I just got into "ruler work" quilting and have just received my flying bell curve templates (literally this past week). I love all the intricate designs that can be accomplished with these tools! Due to medical issues, I have not been able to actually test them out on a project yet, but I have started playing with them on graph paper to get a feel for how to use them. I am really impressed with these tools! For anyone new to this type of quilting, I highly recommend "practicing" with graph paper first (using a 1/4" add a seam disc and a pencil). This will help you get a feel for how the designs should be made without having quilt an actual project. It's a lot like Spirograph and a whole lot of fun!
