I still remember playing "Child of Light" and expecting the usual metroidvania double jump to get all those unreachable upgrades, and then the game just give you FREE FLIGHT

Fun fact. The Night Witches were a highly decorated soviet regiment made of all women. They specialized in night bombing, cutting their engines to idle and gliding low to the target. Ugh... Why do I have a feeling The Knight Witches are behind this? They need praise through the link to get their powers. I feel like the plot of this game is going to go beyond Knight Witches good Daigadai bad. From the opening plot it seemed the Robyn put down an extreme ultimatum which Erebus couldn't accept, yet neither side offered a compromise. The Witches insisted that they repair the damage to the planet, yet Daigadai insisted said repairs would doom the planet regardless. It seems as though Daigadai's progress came at the cost of sustainability, something they may have only realized after the point of no return. Unable to continue support everyone, they made a desperate rush to start anew with a new planet only to be stopped by the Knight Witches before that goal could be achieved.

Wander thanks for showing this off, easy wishlist. When you play the full game, try to remember you can go back and buy more armor. 1 extra hit can help a lot. Only other thing is should try to use cards more, especially auto hits like daggers. Not complaining or demeaning, just a tip. As always play how you enjoy playing :)

does the fact that the main witch knight is named robyn remind anyone else of the anime 'witch hunter robin'? i know it was the first thing i thought of. also, this game looks sick. d/l'd the demo. gonna check it out after i play some tiny rogues, which just released.

This looks really good! Definitely adding it to my wishlist.

One thing I suggest doing is learning which spell cards beside the axe can erase enemies bullets. In bullet hell games those are used as a get out of jail cards when bullets can't be avoided. The technical terms for attacks are "bomb" and there is even the expression "panic bombing" for when a player use a bomb in fear of being hit. As for haters comments how about going the Pop Team Epic way and making a parody song with felt dolls to diss them out? :P

It's really telling that people will jump into complaining that any mention or theme of environmentalism in entertainment media is "social commentary" because they've internalized that acknowledging the world is falling apart ecologically is a partisan political thing, just as if a game offered commentary on the merits of deficit spending.

I personally dont mind when shit gets a but heavy handed and cheesy either but even if I didnt I to simply try and eliminate the impacts of a creators belief's on their art would be to render all art sterile and less meaningful. Recently checked out Metal Gear Rising due to it just being 8 bucks on steam at the moment and that masterpiece wouldnt exist in a world where artists couldnt feel comfortable expressing themselves to fullest.
