How do flying cars work in real life? It's time to honor the timeless spirit of exploration, just like the cowboys of old who fearlessly rode the untamed wilderness. #XPENGAEROHT #XPENGX2 #FlyingCar #CalgaryStampede #Cowboy
less noisy /expensive than helicopter and no licznse required and you can charge at home no aviation fuel, and no super expensive maintenance so different use case it's definitely a big drone but the fact that it can carry you makes a big difference
I almost everyone expected flying cars to be powered by some sort of sci-fi space propulsion system like Plasma or electric drive, magnetic or nuclear fusion propulsion system. Maybe even Warp or Hyper drive like type of flying system from Starfleet or Empire 😂
@@Myhouseiscurrentlyburningdownit's more than likely built-in hidden in the trunk. Just like how an airbag immediately pops out when u crash, it's probably the same principle here if the battery fails or something then a parachute will immediately pop out
Its going to be automated. I am developing autopilots for small drones so it can be used for these as well and in coordination with others and everyone fly in harmony. At least in the beginning. But first we must get improve noise, fuel in this case new type of battery and better propulsion engine type without polluting of course.
Oooh yeah.. especially of Asians are allowed to fly them lol. But I must say this is wicked tech and I'm sure they will have that issue sorted. I'm buying 1 by this time next year. Woooohooo try catching me then coppers. Lol.
Just imagine its a helicopter that costs less than a new diesel truck... Now let that sink in. Do you even need a pilots license? Only if you get caught....
People need to begin thinking about constructing their houses in a way that allows these to park on top of them because now they are slowly getting licenses in the US too.
The terrifying thing about this tech is there is no glide slope in case of a failure. Helicopters have autorotation, planes can glide. This thing is just a falling brick.
@@jdmforever5583some now include a parachute to slow down the fall. It's only the begining of the market, so expect to see more tech for safety in nmear future if that is developping.
I saw that at well right off the bat. What caught my attention is the angle of the camera trying to depict the vehicle traversing over a busy highway and I thought wait! If that thing goes down in traffic that’s the end of the company as the passengers would sue or their estates. So that prompted me to look and see off indeed there were passengers. Nope! It looked like a empty drone shot.
Compare the safety of a redundant comptuer stabilized quadrotor to the track record of helicopters and it's actually quite a worthwhile evolution, even if it's not the revolutionary transformation videos like this imply. It is a helicopter, but it's a better, quieter, safer one.
We started on animals like horses, elephants and others, few times after we discovered transport on water. In industrial revolution man invented mechanical transportation. After that it was time for the air and space... and we're still discovering. Perhaps teleportation😂😂 or time-travel
Well, just like their toy counterparts, you gotta have the guards. Might add a little weight, but very necessary. We take em off on the toys or they break, but on the pro version, it becomes mandatory safety equipment. Also, at least these have 8 props instead of 4 so, you can limp it home or to the nearest repair shop when one fails for whatever reason.
Hopefully there is a backseat for the pillow and teddy bear, because we need to be able to sleep in it too. If we can't afford rent, a house, or groceries, we need to be able to live in this baby! Cool toy.
Вот это будущие а не мерседесы на бензиновым двигателем прошлого века изобретение до сих пор клипают машины на 4 резиновых колёсах меняется дизайн и все дно человечества а это прорыв
I think these are going to run mostly on virtual platforms. Virtual route to control traffic flow, as well as digital payment channels when you cross into certain airspace
Back to the Future had technomagical hovering "pods" on the cars that used some sort of unknown fantasy tech. Vehicles like this with props slapped on them are not a new idea, and not novel, there was a guy who did it back in the 60s. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moller_M400_Skycar This isn't quite how I imagined Back to the Future in real life as a kid, this is kinda lame in comparison to the movie.
These are awesome, but like most modern electric vehicles they are limited by current energy storage (battery) technology. That’s why we’re seeing companies push r&d in this sector, and there can’t be enough because as soon as energy storage density is improved things like this will become commonplace, in a safe manner. I’m assuming that prop guards have been omitted to squeeze every second of flight time possible by reducing weight which is understandable with an emerging technology such as this. I just can’t wait until the next generation of batt tech. is here because energy density is one of the biggest limiting obstacles right now.
@@joeybulford5266then this new one is 35.7 minutes; and this new one 35.9 on a sunny day with solar panels; and this lil piggy went all the way home with a staggering 37.4 minutes on a Sunday with clear skies the best yet 😮
Não é um drone que transporta pessoas. No início eles estão entrando num helicóptero e depois mostram um drone grande voando; observe que em um certo momento mostra que não ha NINGUÉM a bordo. É só uma enganação.
Don't worry bro flying cars will be there by 2035 my promise my father is scientist he working on this concept he told me this. Concept which is not still discovered
Yup all people said that when plane were invented.. decades later, we found people who are scared of plane stupid.. so your comment is kind of stupid. But maybe in few decades when people will be flying, you will still be riding your bike?
@@warrenparker6287 I am a pilot ... Im trained in how to fly and communicate .... you arent What he said is 100% true. We have altitudes we are allowed to fly at based on when we are going east or west. Flying visual or Instrument. There is a highway system in the air to prevent planes crashing .... There are classes of airspace that require permission to enter by ATC to prevent crashes with Airliners .... this isnt bureaucracy its safety
There are a lot more bad drivers per car than bad pilots per plane. Not only is pilot training much higher quality but... How many pilots do you know that have crashed a plane twice? ;)
There’s something already in place and still being built for highways in the sky. Our government started working on this years ago in preparation of this already.
@@visualeclipseproductionsthis will never be mainstream. You would have people flying near airports and fixed wing aircraft while not being in contact with ATC. Would be a nightmare. I can’t imagine what happens when little Timmy gets his driver’s license and crashes this into someone’s house
@@moiseshernandez2289 I wonder how many idiots will have to die or lose their houses due to a bugged "flying car" (thanks to a bird-strike?), before brain-dead humanity will come to its senses...
No because it's an antique it's a piece of junk wrestling Darius I knew went out is very sweet and has you can't touch the blades you can't even see them and I've seen this technology it is like landspeeder crazy
@@BeaterCollector What you really need to give a thought to is what happens when such a bird strike happens in congested skies... Hint: blades come off and hit yet more blades causing those to separate too.
if i see one of these i'll run and take shelter 😅 helicopters can auto rotate planes can glide but if anything goes wrong this thing will land like a brick
The thought of the lithium batteries turning into a firework display mid-flight is why I won't get in one of these things just yet. With new battery tech I certainly will though.
It’s extremely difficult btw because in the air every bit of weight matter and just the transmission box alone would make this thing unable to fly and need to get more robust turbine
