I have been living abroad for the past 45 years. Almost 25 years ago I promised to myself I will never fly with Air India even if they give me a free ticket. I have kept my promise thus far. Air India has the most pathetic staff which takes sadistic pleasure in harassing travellers.

For an AI flight it's best to load your iPad up with a lot of content (books, RU-vid videos) in case the IFE isn't working. Also bring a power bank to re-charge if the USB outlet at your seat is broken.

This was the cheapest you got in a while for a plane ride and you took it. Airindia is one of the cheapest flights out there now. You know they’re trying to improve and it will takes time. With that said you only had negative things to say with your cheap airindia travel. Next time take emirates.

Actually, it was the most expensive flight because it was direct! It was 1 lakh rupees 1 person!

Baggage limit is not dependant on the visa type. Baggage will depend upon the flight u book. In air India, it was 30kg check in and 8 cabin for me

But is it customer’s problem? I understand that it can happen on any airline, but shouldn’t the airline at least compensate for it in some way. The ticket price was 1 lakh Rupees per person, you certainly would expect basic things to function fine at this price.

Hi Sir, thanks for reaching out. It is a bit difficult for an Australian company to sponsor somebody outside of the country, but not impossible, so please keep trying. Also ensure that your job profile is in demand over here. If you have the right work experience and you are open to explore other countries as well, you can also apply for jobs in the UK and UAE. They have a good job market too.

Hey Archit, I personally prefer BUPA, they are cheaper than the other providers. And they also have tie ups with some companies that allow them to provide us with corporate discounts. So when you are talking to BUPA representatives, tell your company name and ask if they can offer any company discounts. Hope this helps

If I buy a coverage for one state vic and in future if I have to move to another state then the same insurance would be applicable with no changes? Appreciate if you can help me on these two points

1. It depends on whether you want to include extras like dental or eyesight in your insurance. If yes, then go with the extra one. 2. They provide insurances based on different states, their rates differ based on the location. So they will probably discontinue your current plan and start the new one. It’s a very simple and hassle free process, they will do that instantly. Hope this answers the questions.

I think your in -flight experience balanced out the 30K plus you were exempted off by the lady at the counter. Not everything can work in your favour. AI is known to have these issues. You should've taken Singapore Airlines, paid the extra baggage and then am sure you wouldn't be complaining.

What money bachaye? It was the most expensive flight out of the lot!! I paid 1 lakh Rupees for one person as it was a direct flight, whereas flights running from Delhi to Sydney can cost as low as 25,000 INR only!

If this flight’s tickets are cheapest out of the rest you are seeing, then please go with it. For me, this airlines tickets were most expensive out of the lot, and still I got this kind of experience. That’s what infuriated me
