21:50 The only runway 8L final approach RU-vid video into HNL that shows my parents home on the ground. I’ve seen my home from out the left windows of other videos. :) Liked and subscribed!
I appreciate that you made the video, but would have liked to have seen more of what was happening on the plane. For example: What did the seat look like when it was flat before snoopy was sitting there? What were the menu choices? How many inches of leg room? What did it look like where you put your feet? How wide was the seat? What type of entertainment selections were there? How large was the screen? Although the view from the window was nice, I would have preferred more time was spent on the actual plane. I do appreciate that you spent the time to make and post the video, on know it was better than anything I could have done. What I said was not meant to criticize. I just would have liked more information.
Great video. I always check out my gate prior because i want to make sure I have enough time from the sky club to my flight, especially if I'm traveling in Delta 1. But to each their own.
Do they not do Mai Tais anymore? My mom is a retired Delta FA and she told me we’d get Mai Tais pre-flight on delta one. We’re going in December through SLC
Unfortunately not quite yet, which is why I would honestly choose Hawaiian airlines over Delta for that reason, although they may have brought them by back now!
@@PassengerAlex hopefully! It’ll be my boyfriend’s first time flying first class/delta one. I was lucky enough to get delta one non-revving JFK to Athens and then my way home through Paris back in 2017
Not a fan of the 1st cabin in these old planes. Even the refurbished ones still have the same tiny screens. Entry is only at the front door so everyone also has to pass by you. However the econ seating 2-3-2 is great. Better than a 757 or 321neo. The premium econ seats in the refurbished planes are great.
Nice review. We just flow out MSP to HNL and back last week. Had the same premium select kit. I thought the experience was a little underwhelming both the hard and soft product. The IFE is very very dated. Food was below what I had seen from Delta One. I really wish they never retired the 777 since they had upgraded them to the newer Delta One suites and they were a pleasure to fly in pre-Covid months. I do recall when Delta One to Hawaii was more elevated.
That is unfortunate to hear, but I hope you enjoyed the flight! hopefully soon they will upgrade aircraft Yes! Before 2020 there were even Mai Tais in Delta One. I will be reviewing Detroit to Honolulu this October!
