Taking a tram to a different terminal to pick up the luggage means the airport is huge. It looks a lot bigger than SFO. This is the first time I know about "Foreigner fingerprint self-collection area". I don't know exactly what it is and how it works but it is interesting!
Beijing Capital International airport is massive. There are three terminals located there. In this video, is Terminal 3. There are also Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. SFO is about the size of Terminal 1, and Terminal 3. Capital Airport is located in NW Beijing. There's another huge airport Daxing 大兴 located in South Beijing, it opened in September 2019. I've been there, and need to release the video of it.
