And you do realise it has been surveyed and concluded this doesn't really affect the species' numbers. People have killed them for sport yes... but mainly it's for their livelihood

Please don’t. Chaotic tourism and erratic random drones are already a real plague for the inhabitants. There are to many photographers that seem to think that the islands are to be used as theyre own personal playground.

@@johanj81 yeh ok. Sure. If you class someone who’s been flying and photographing landscapes for several years an erratic tourist you’ve gotten the wrong end of the stick. As a photographer I’m drawn to locations like this. I’m respectful when flying and don’t simply mess about in the skies. Looking forward to visiting once covid is over

The volcanic soil in the Faroe Islands does not allow trees to grow there. The only trees they have are in their Botanical Garden. No joke. They really have a botanical garden for trees. :)

trees can grow here, but the sheep will eat the bark ( the skin) from the trees so they die
