No aminities in the business class due to covid is a dampner 😏. Thanks for the pro tip.. loved the screen size . Surprised to see the aircraft with only 40% capacity. Whoa a white table cloth for dining is super cool.. the dessert look yumz , honey lemon tea was definitely a good idea. Loved the sunrise view .. spectacular 😍. Loved the breakfast . What an amazing seat experience! We only fly domestically in the US so we usually by the “cheap” seats and sit smushed together for a few hours, but this might convince me to splurge on the long flights!
You are right though. With flights about under 3 hours, we tend to just book economy, but anything beyond that, try to get business! We can help! Just ask us anything if you ever need booking assistance!

Wow. Awesome experience. Changi airport is the best airport in the entire world. Though the shops and restaurants were closed, still the airport looks so fascinating. Whoa the lounge looks so crowded ..49k miles + just $50 is super deal. The seats look so cool.

That is a HUGE SEAT OMG! 😯 Singapore has been a dream for me but now flying business on Singapore airlines is now a necessary part of that dream. Dry air on planes is the worst-I even looked into person humidifiers that you can wear like a necklace so I could sleep better on planes 🤣 Love checking our new airlines! Aww thanks you guys! The pandemic truly brought the toughest times out of all of us, but glad we made past it all! I got super lucky on this flight, on cheap points, full service dinner, and lie flat seats! Yea, looks can be deceiving! In hindsight, I could have asked the flight attendant for extra bedding.

Hello again guys!! Ahh it’s so sad to still see so many airports closed and out of business. Ohh business class looks super lush - those seats are huge and you pretty much had the whole cabin to yourself!! It’s a shame that all the perks are not available though, I love the hot hand towels 😞 All the food looked pretty delicious and super fancy! Would love to use business class one day 🙌🏼 So interesting about the HES code, have never heard of it before. Thanks for taking us with you! ☺️

Covid effect in Mall and the airport as well with shops and restaurants all closed. The lounge does not seem to be under Covid lockdown. Wow, that's a big seat with good space. The meal looks good. Finally after a long flight you met Wedee. Good to see both of you together.

I feel you on the ongoing restrictions at airports with the Covid. I had a few crazy experiences in Montenegro, Cairo and London during my holiday travels. The seat looks comfy. Weird that they have you angle yourself awkwardly to lay out. The airplane food looked good. The service sounded amazing. That can make or break an experience. Yeah I went through Istanbul airport on my way to Cairo. It was interesting with such a massive airport that they don't have a lot of at gate arrivals. Istanbul airport is huge! Glad you had an easy flight. I've seen Weedees video and it fascinates me how you guys had 2 entirely different adventures to get to the same place lol.

It's one of those things where we just feel that in the time of pandemic, it's nice to have a seat that's away from others. But like you said, we never know why someone agreed to sitting sideways on a plane. Wedee had 3 flights and I only had one and his was much more difficult, but we were on different sides of the world. Just happy to be back together.

Business class on SQ is only comfortable in a sitting position. But when sleeping , it s not comfortable because we have to angle our legs and feet to the corner.
We completely agree! It's always so unfortunate when you get into business class and the seat is sideways. Definitely not the best way to travel, but at least you get to lay down!

Not sure if I miss it or just didn’t hear it 😄 I just wonder if you are required to show your PCR at Istanbul immigration? Btw, do you need to take another pcr test on your inbound flight to Singapore?
Thanks so much! This really means a lot! Turkey is currently open for all vaccinated tourist since last year and STILL IS! Honestly, there was no PCR test requirement when entering from Singapore. Before I checked in, I just showed my Vaccination status to the ticket counter and my registered HES Code (Turkish locator tracker), and they printed my boarding pass and check in my flight. When I arrived, immigration never asked for any PCR test, apart for my HES code which shows my vaccine record. I flew towards the US after Istanbul, but I heard Singapore is planning to open up to the world for vaccinated visitors in April.

Singapore Airlines is a good airline but it is dated. It’s logo, it’s uniforms, it’s cabins, it’s service concept all need a refresh. Singapore airlines needs bringing into the 21st Century.

We will be traveling soon & we will have the same aircraft as yours and I’m worried that my other half will be whining the entire time bcos he can’t stretch his legs entirely (with that awkward seat setup anyway) it’ll be our first to use Singapore Air. P.s. I’m surprised & disappointed to know that they don’t give out kits. Thank you
They are most likely giving out kits now as the airlines move pretty quickly with updates and renovations as well as keeping things fresh and new! I am 5'6 so honestly any seat is fine for us. It's just that for pandemic-wise it's nice to grab a seat that has spaces between each individual and you get to experience a quality service. Where will you be flying to?
If you are already fully vaccinated, there is no requirement to do PCR testing. Then again, always double check with the official gov for more info, or check with your airline before departing, as covid laws are always changing.
Very nice. Thank you. I rode the 350 in business from Singapore up to Bangkok a couple years ago and it was great. And you are correct - those seats are wonderful. I was the sole passenger in that smaller rear business cabin and I had the bulkhead seat 19A. The crew was great but they asked me three times if I wanted to move up into the larger cabin and three times I refused. I think they were too lazy to walk that extra 15 steps back to my seat. And judging by the size of the ass on one of the FA's I did her a favor by making her walk that extra 15 steps a few times. I had a wonderful lobster thermidor via Book the Cook and with that and the nice champagne and Bordeaux my only complaint was the trip wasn't longer. Thanks again.
