This video does what it says on the can! How refreshing to find a 'tutor' who doesn't jabber at three times my speed of comprehension and graphics that don't depend on me keeping up with a demented cursor darting all over the screen. Excellent and thankyou.
I greatly appreciate your clear speaking voice and the fact that background music is kept to a minimum! That, to me, makes for a perfect teaching video! Others who think its fun to blast out watchers with thumping sound track, please note. Thanks again.
very well explained. Thumbs up on this one. Most videos made me even more lost than when I started viewing them but this one is put together very well. A big Thank you.
I've watched a lot of these "training videos" on RU-vid. This is the most professional one I've seen. 1. The sound is clear. The voice over is understandable. 2. The graphics are large and clear. 3. The material is organized, specific and precise. ALL the buttons and readouts are described clearly. If you want to learn how to use the GPS in FSX and understand all the information it offers, this video is for you.
Thanks so much for this, looking forward to the follow-up parts. I've been struggling to teach a bunch of air cadets on a flight sim with broken ATC and severe lag, so autopilot and GPS nav is essential but until now the damn thing scared me. Now hopefully we'll soon be making the sky our place again.
I thank you hugely, because I was never able to identify the sections on the left side of the GPS. Now, thanks to you, I can copy this flight and test it. :) You've just earned a subscriber!
Smooth video.....luv smooth jazz and flying. Pay no attention to the music critics. I rarely sign in to comment but I am now. Great job teaching me and others to use the GPS. I easily switched from the video to FSX and go step by step. I actually learned and now know where I am, where I'm going and not blindly searching around for runways and coming in for deep dive landings. Way cool! .
i have been threw so many so called tutorials who just bla bla bla to me but this is the most interesting tutorial i have heard so easey to follow thank you
Timeless. It is as good in 2021 as it was in 2011. Excellent teaching skills. Use small, "bite size' junks and go from "known to unknown". I'm searching for more videos now, are you still making training vids and fling flight sim?
Let me check the specifics of that aircraft and I will reply to the question on panel and aircraft. Thanks to all others for the nice comments. Charles
,,,I was flying FSX regularly a few years ago, then quit...now I want to get back into it and forgot a lot..is there any site someone can recommend for direct help on using FSX...thanks much
Completely professional media and understanding work... Very good job ... Of course Thanks alot. Looking for the Fourth part .. is it uploded?? Cant find it??
you ,sir, have provided an unbelievable tutorial. This is actually really easy for dummies like me too..I think MS should put your tutorial in place of the FS-9 tutorials. Yours is 1000x better than "Since this is not going well, we are going to end this tutorial" crap that they included...I never learnt anything concrete from there. I am subscribing..hopeful of many interesting videos from you...btw, are you a pilot by profession?
few questions, regarding DTK , TK and CRS and CTS. im still learning fsx so i would like to know what do i set my course panel to? im referring to the course panel located beside the N1 panel and arm airspeed panel. 'Cause on my GPS i am given BRG, DTK, TRK, CTS and on the cockpit dashboard I am given the Heading panel Course panel and omnibearing changer. if im not mistaken. i understand after your video the definition of each but still having difficulty which one goes where and when. My question is, what do i put and where and when at which? i really hope my question made sense, i am new to this and its the only way i know how to explain, thank you. help will be much appreciated.
Thanks for the video. I just have to subscribe, and to get that from me is quite good because if I include you, I only have three subscribers. So well done and thank you for the video
Thanks a lot. This is a great video tutorial. You are a good speaker. (Excuse me, I don´t speak inglish very well. I´m from Colombia). I´m a UL pilot (Do you undertand me?) UL means Ultra Ligth Aviation. I live in Cali, near de airfield and near the Cali V.O.R. (115.5) O.k. Congratulations.. See you later..
