Well done you - and Jet2. Getting to sit in the captains seat must have been a thrill. Flew with Jet2 to Cyprus last month from Newcastle, unfortunately not on a 757, and their staff are totally customer focussed. Great video.
Cracking video. I've been lucky to enjoy many flights on the 757 with Monarch, Air Europa, Continental (International and Domestic lay outs), Thomas Cook and Air Scotland. Always with the RB211 and always a great flight. The Continental flight was a bit bumpy over the North Atlantic to Newark, but still comfortable. Actually got in the cockpit in flight on the Monarch Airlines 757. But that was waaaaay back in 1994.

Well done mate, you remind me of me when I was your age, i would always want to visit the cockpit. I'm sad for you though as you'll not get the chance to go up there at 35.000ft and see other jets passing the other way a 1000ft higher and the fantastic view, amazing. Great video.
@@planespottingringway nice one, oh and by the way the 757 is my absolute favourite plane. It looks so cool, even with its gear down.Ask the pilots and they will tell you its properly overpowered. Some pilots call her the Ferrari of the Airliners... have a look at the RNZ Air force, they give one a right old tear up....🖖

Hello I’ve made trip reports to Greece in the past and I might be making another trip report again soon, however unlike my other videos, the Greek ones are very very stuttery only when I’ve edited it, what editor do you use and do you know why it stutters and how to stop it? Thanks. Do you know if this is the same for other Greek countries like Macedonia and Cyprus? I was meant to fly on the Jet2 757 to turkey back in may last year but my mom changed the departure airport from Manchester to Birmingham as Birmingham is closer so we flew on a Smartlynx A321 and it was still good it had Jet2 interior and everything but still missed out on a 757 trip
We used MANCHESTER airport for flights TOM2662 & TOM2263 for our holiday on 22/09/2022 Check in was awful, security was the easiest part of our departing experience. We were loaded onto the plane ontime by TUI who were at No fault. But there was a problem with moving luggage which meant our flight which should’ve departed at 14:40 ended up taking off at 15:42. Great flight experience very lovely staff and USB ports huge bonus. When we arrived in Fuerteventura it was quick and easy. The only complain is a Jet2 plane was blocking the runway for a flight from Bristol who’s passengers were meant to be on our TUI coach and that caused a delay we were waiting on the coach for an hour. On the way back was just awful. We arrived 3 hours before schedule departure at Puerto Del Rosario (ran by AENA) Check in was super quick and easy! Airport security took just 6 minutes! But when the airport security run ended it was A NIGHTMARE. Manchester Airport for no reason whatsoever did not allow our plane to depart for at least an hour meaning our 20:20 flight was delayed to 21:20. I would just like to point out that this issue was not TUI or AENA Puerto Del Rosario fault. An extra bonus was very strong tail wind meaning a reduced flight time of 3 hours 30 mins which should have been exactly 4 hours. When we landed in Manchester smooth landing but 30 MIN WAIT for stairs at 1am! Ridiculous! (TUI not at fault) after that we were stuck in baggage reclaim for an hour waiting for luggage. Flight TOM2662 (depart from MAN to FEU) was the better experience Flight TOM2663 (arrive at MAN from FEU) was just terrible *TUI not at fault
It was truly terrible but I must point out that TUI or AENA Puerto Del Rosario were at no fault and all of the issues were caused by (MAG) Manchester Airport
For how young you are - you have a very good video style and confidence doing these 'vlog' style trip reports. Keep it up and you will be the next noel philips/paul lucas 😂- I would advise getting rid of that fat watermark though, or make it smaller :)
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed! The reason it is so big is so if someone steals my video they’ll either be easily called out for it or would have to crop it which would damage the upload quality, but I guess I could make it a bit smaller for a better viewing experience 😀
