Ahh, such beauty in the skys. If only there weren't so many external factors holding it back from its full potential. I'm still eagerly awaiting the electro version :D
A beautiful airplane !!! Well worth the money, it was built with thought and real experts !!! I wish there was an RC to fly...... Bravo !!! and Well done !!!
Se ganaron la Loteria Muchachos?:). In my bucket list after winning the Lottery. Thanks for showing Us that beautiful bird. Salados de Carolina Del Norte, U.S.A.
Been gaining certification for many years now and is still under a lot of development. All news of the aircraft dropped off the market a few years ago so maybe in a year or so it’ll get certified
@@liefbrunhilda926 Hahaha, in 40 years I've come across many pilots who utilize the "hope for the best" philosophy when looking for these tiny dots in the windscreen that may have a direct bearing on life expectancy
The Panthera is faster than the DA50, has better range, about half the price, and is equipped with a parachute (crucial for WAF - Wife Acceptance Factor). It is doubtful that the DA50 can take customers from Cirrus, but the Panthera might!
Sorry, totally wrong. The DA50 is a superb airplane. But the Panthera has better Performance and less money. Will have a parachute rescue system and DA 50 is not all over the rest. My ranking would be Panthera DA 50 RV and Cirrus.
@@Tinker1950 No, the asking price and the perceived value are mutually exclusive of one another. Unfortunately, 40 years in aviation has tempered and embittered my attitudes towards “new and sparkly!” Is it pretty, yup, is it fast, yup, is it reasonable, nope! For GA to flourish and grow it will have to cease being a niche market for the criminally stupid with all their money. Let’s face it, GA is dead, unless you build your own.
@@Tinker1950 Just out of curiosity John, what is your market, your expectation of sales, your structured plan for this aircraft? 5-10 sales a year in the US? You are stepping into some ridiculously crowded waters with an aircraft with a $594,000 jump in price before the usual $100,000 add-ons! This is the problem, aviation at a mom and pop level is absolutely unsustainable. Furthermore, you might want to look at the statistics regarding the lack of technical training, tech schools, and people required to maintain these toys, not gonna happen. We are already seeing the maintenance side starting to collapse on the commercial side because of the lack of skilled technicians, you think mom and pop FBO’s are gonna pay their techs $65/hr and up, NOPE! This will be a very, very short ride, even if it becomes a ride at all! The Dark Aero fits the bill for me at a fifth of the cost and I know what’s going into it.
