Some of my most memorable experiences were while flying with Lloyd Roundtree out of Petersburg Ak, the owner of Alaska Island Air in the 70s. Gruman goose, De Havilland beaver. or Cessna 180s he was a real bush pilot... that endlessly chain-smoked EriK cigars. There's nothing sexier than a goose landing on a glassy lake at sunset.
Steve and his Widgeon took us out to our set gillnet fish camp many times during the 80s and 90s. On one occasion I videoed the entire trip from Kodiak to Moser Bay on the south end. Our cat never seemed to mind the noise.
