Definitely a great place to go to and unwind. Even if you just get off the airplane and sit along the stream right next to the dirt runway!

Great airstrip selection you have. That density altitude can be difficult for sure. I have a Piper Tripacer with the vortex generator kit to help at stall speeds. I can see what you are saying about being set up early at minimum airspeed control on the approach.

1.-On high density airstrips, are the approach and take off speeds the same? 2.-How do you lean your mixture? Should be good leaning before T/O by applying brakes, full throttle and then reduce mixture until best power is shown?

Alex, este piloto sabe mucho más de lo que cualquier instructor común y corriente te pueda enseñar. Él tiene una habilidad increíble, y todo el conocimiento, criterio que se necesita para volar en aviación general, sobre todo en el campo, pistas, escenarios como los que tenemos en Bolivia.
