Hi Trev, My first (and only) visit to Wingland was on 23rd May 2009, on my way out to France with a friend for the first time. We were met by the owner who had already done a fuel run for us, then took us back to his house for our dinner - and invited us to stay overnight, rather than camp. Unbelievably generous. 🙂
Great vid thanks Trev. Training with Neil at Deenethorpe at the moment and loving it. It'll be great to do stuff like this once I get my NPPL. Keep 'em coming!
I don't fly but these vids are a great window into your flying life. Fabulous. The flights must take quite a bit of planning though. You have to wait for the right weather etc? And I don"t think that life gets much better than that moment with the sandwich… quietly reflecting.
G'day Trev. Well it's Sunday morning down here in Nz. And in spite of the fact that I can think for myself, I'm still going to pinch your idea for breakfast. And like you, missing will be the tomatoes. And hashbrowns, and mushrooms. But I do have a coffee grinder, so have fresh brewed coffee. But seriously thank you for sharing.. Loving your channel. Keep those episodes coming. Atb.
No it's not a stupid question at all. I have a foot throttle that I use for take off and landing. I then have a hand throttle for when i'm in the cruise. 😉
