Welcome to another complete and extensive aircraft tutorial, this time covering the FlyJSim 732 Twinjet V3 Pro, a replica of the classic Boeing 737-200. During an Air Inuit flight from Montréal Intl (CYUL) to La Grande Rivière Airfield (CYGL) in Canada, we will have a look at all of the aircraft's features and setup options, power it up from a cold'n'dark state, learn how to manage the engines and the classic autopilot, do our descent calculations and perform a visual approach into our very frosty destination airport. In a separate portion of the video we will also have a look on how to setup the aircraft for an ILS approach. I hope you enjoy :)

Very nice. I loved this. A note on the reversers, not sure how you're doing it but I used to assign it to the button at the end of the Saitek throttles and always had trouble with that. Then I realized I can assign a whole axis to "Reverse" and this basically lets you modulate how much reverse power you want. From Idle all the way to max. Provided you have a free axis somewhere. I got two throttle quadrants that go Speed Brake/Reverser/E1/E2/Nothing/Flaps. (I got nothing in the fifth one because I never got it to work right with the gear)

Thanks for the hint and that's a nice solution! I'm also using the "detent" at the end of the Saitek Quadrant throttle axis. I assume you used the command "hold reversers at max" or how it's called, that will always deploy reversers with full thrust. But there's also a command "toggle thrust reversers" that just activates the reversers and then you can determine how much reverse thrust you want with the throttle axis. That works very well for me with all airliners, but with the 732 sometimes they won't engage.

You can choose "FMS" as the Nav System in the plane's settings: 3:32

Thanks! I'm having issues intercepting localizer. I'm usually flying with CIVA INS and when I switch from GPS to NAV at FAF it won't intercept it. Everything is set and I'm using VOR/LOC mode no Auto App mode, so not sure what's wrong. Any ideas?

Hmmm I didn't fly this plane for a very long time now, so I can't recall what might be happening. Maybe the Flight Director isn't properly setup or the aircraft isn't correctly trimmed out before AP engagement.

Great video. As always. One question though: I thought if there wasn't any RTO setting in autobrake, they would set it to MAX. LOL... That's what I had been doing.

Thank you. Regarding the autobrake setting for takeoff, I honestly don't know lol ;) Maybe setting it to MAX is a good idea.

Great job sir. I love this plane too. It's nice to have the fms seeing that most Sid's and stars are rnav type. I noticed you didn't plug in the cruise altitude on the vnav page. Is that just your preference? Thanks again and look forward to more!!!

Thanks a lot Robert! Well I skipped the VNAV pages in the FMS because they won't have any influence on the flight performance of the aircraft. This classic 737-200 has no VNAV capability, it just happens that these pages are within the default XP11 FMS which this aircraft uses :)

Right, but if you enter crz alt and intended descend speed, it will calculate T/D for you.

I also love this plane. Still have an issue during rotate, it's going down for a moment or just struggle for a second in that moment.

Hi Henning! Yes, I have the exact same problem. It feels as if the calculated takeoff trim isn't enough during rotate and you have to trim up a bit more. Also I have this strange thrust reverser problem sometimes. Other than that it's an awesome classic airliner for sure :)

It's X-Plane's default FMC and can be chosen in the options of the plane. It's the gear icon on the left side of the screen iirc.

Very good video but just a questıon . Do you know how to fıx the ALT bug . I was following your step but after 10 000 feet the cabin Altitude bug has appeared and the black screen has appeared Is there any tutorıal for this solutions Thanks

Sorry but I didn't fly this plane for a year now or so... right now I can't tell you what is wrong there. Maybe try running the skunkcraft updater again to make sure all files are okay, or completely reinstall the plane fresh. Might fix the problem :) Thanks for watching!

That's correct behavior, the Yoke is always linked to the flight surfaces and it moves with the autopilot inputs.

Simulation Channel Deluxe I think I phrased this wrong, but the yoke keeps moving back and forth, not because of the autopilot inputs but probably because of the trim. The trim wheel is constantly moving and it just bobs the plane up and down at cruise pretty much. The trim shouldn’t be moving either, there isn’t any corrections needed and there is no turbulence

Oh I see. I think I read something about this problem in the forums some time ago. Do you have the most up to date version of the aircraft installed using the Skunkcraft Updater plugin (for version 3 of the aircraft)? I think the problem got fixed with an update.
