Not that it is an option, but I would not like to have to bail out with that prop where it is!!!

Bail out? You carry a parachute? REALLY? You do NOT carry a parachute. You are NOT a pilot. Bailing out of a light aircraft is extremely rare. Rare, rare, and rare. Due to the law of gravity, a person would normally fall DOWN and away from the propellor, not UP and in to the propellor. If one had to bail out of the aircraft, (please provide the scenario) the propeller would possibly be stopped or barely turning over. You must be scared of everything that moves. Sweet dreams.
