FM8 vs GT7 | Toyota Trueno GT AE86 | Sound & Model Comparison 

It's sad what has happened to Forza Motorsport. At one time it was one of the best series of racing games. Forza Motorsport 3 and 4 were pretty much the ideal simcade racing game in those years. Then the unsuccessful Forza Motorsport 5, which, apart from the brilliant graphics for the time and the Lotus F1 car, didn't bring anything great to the series. Since then it has only got worse. Forza Motorsport (2023) is a shame for Turn 10 Studios and the entire Forza franchise. It is, in my opinion, the worst big-budget racing game ever made. Poorly developed - that's one. Ugly - that's two. With hopeless AI - that's three. Next - lame progression system, shoddy career, terrible engine sounds. It doesn't end there - outdated car and track models (outdated Spa - Francorchamps for example, the legendary exit from the pit lane at Daytona). Hopeless optimisation on PC. No soul or atmosphere, no extra flavours as in previous instalments of the series. Built from the ground up? Not really. This game did really great damage to the series. Many gamers would not give the next Motorsport a chance - if such a game comes out at all. This is sad. Really sad. Gran Turismo needs competition, Gran Turismo needs Forza Motorsport to develop further. What scares me is that if Forza Motorsport disappears, Gran Turismo will start to drop in quality. Already one competitor has fallen - Project Cars. I fear that Forza Motorsport, a series that has been on the market for almost 20 years, will also disappear.

I legit thought the FM8 model was just footage from GT6 showing a standard quality AE86.

By the way the AE86 in GT7 sounds GREAT! The interrior in PSVR2 looks soooo real too.

if you listen closely, you can hear the little chime sound in GT7's AE86 when exceeding 100km/h

The forza model is extreamly outdated. Its very clear that turn 10 dosent care for good car models, their is no other dev that has this bad car models, we know gt7 is the best in,the buisness, but even like nfs and even mobile racing game csr racing 2 has for the most part better models than forza as well

Imagine if keiichi tsuchiya saw how god awful the forza ae86 model is. I bet he would actually be immensely upset lmfaoo
