Now I am worried because the next Forza horizon is going to use the same engine this means that either playground games is going to give Turn 10 a lesson on how to make actual graphics and details or they are going to be in the same graphics and details as FM23
Here we are 8 months later. While they did improve some lighting the core issues persist! Extreme amount of depth of field - still no option to turn it off or reduce it making the game a blurry mess. There are still sometimes graphicaly wierd things going on with lighting/shadows on interior parts like a cage beam. They just dont listen and therefore i will never buy a forza again - to me forza IS dead!
I remember Ai cars also have very very low LOD. My god some of them wipers doesn't even work! In FM7, I was having a race in the rain and then I saw the Ai cars headlights are turned off but tail lights are all ON. Some cars have missing side view mirrors too such a Chrysler or Chevy Camaro(old)
@@XDLugia yes it does, "to be fair". When the cars of an almost x10 more powerful console game looks worse in-game than even Xbox 360's from the same company. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uUIe4-lo3d8.htmlsi=gvMvrELMcMKjZ4-8
@@KonTurboR Did you read what I said? The intro from Forza 5 that you used in this video isn't rendered in real time on Xbox One. That's literally all I was talking about. I didn't even mention Forza 8.
i knew it. i hated how R34 looks on forza it looks like a bootleg of itself. the rear end looks so skinny and the stock wheels size and fitment are just wrong. i wish i dont have to buy a playstation just to get this experience :(
Nice video highlighting this gem! I’m a big arcade racing fan, games such as outrun and wipeout come to mind, but I fell in love with this game!!! It has the perfect balance of the driftey controls of the arcade isometric greats that laid the basic groundwork for it, yet somehow almost tricks you into giving a feeling of “realism” due to the finesse required to take good corners and such. Lastly I’m in love with the visuals, I think they are absolutely charming and the career mode channels the best of the times I remember playing the ps one Gran Turismo career mode way back in middle school. Simply put if you’re looking for a truly well crafted racing game, please look no further! My old roommate is a die hard modern Gran Turismo fan alongside other stuff like Beam NG, and yet he still managed to get immediately hooked by this game as well!
puddles in fm6 was truly an amazing thing to add, you have to avoid them or your car will be pulled towards its place, also when you pass on one of these puddles youll hear the water sound splashing from under the car. forza will never be the same, though the new xbox got better graphics card and memory. but they just won't do it.
fm 5 was truly a masterpiece i will never forget when i bought it with my new samsung tv with the best hd colors, it was a true next gen game, it holds up to this day.
This article isn't true. T10ManteoMax has said in regards to this: "Creative Directors work on the individual game titles - that’s the position Chris Esaki has had and still has; studio management is a different role." So therefore, Chris Esaki has never left.
series x running fm5: EZZZZZZZZZZZZ (doesn't even heat) series x running fm8: bro it's hot, bring the ice, BRING THE ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (if you make the right usage of the heat, you can make an egg)
6:59 the answer to this is pretty sad. Even with the so called “Ray Tracing” enabled, this is a blatant giveaway of Screen Space Reflections being used instead. An issue SSR has had since its creation is that ANY obstructions in the way of a reflection will have a weird “wipe” effect, in that the area surrounding that obstruction will have that weird light artifact/vanishing of the reflection. I’m not discrediting Screen Space Reflections, in fact, it still works really well for such an old method of recreating water reflections, but I genuinely don’t know what is being ray traced in this game. The car paint models look flat in many instances, the shadow resolution and drop off on the cars are horrendous, the rain reflections from what I can tell are rendered with SSR, the list goes on.
"Built from the ground up" is more suitable for FM5 Like GT Sport, when making the next gen game they have to sacrifice some content for quality Sadly FM 2023 they remove some content might be add back as dlc, and again, recycle cars(when tf can I receive a normal looking S15 instead of a goofy model which age older than me)
Ya la primera vez que probe el juego me resulto extraño, sin comparativas me resultaba peor gráficamente que forza motorsport 5 y 6, pero este video me lo confirma
i'm starting to appreciate the styling of fm, how saturated and glossy everything is. objectively, gt is more faithful, but apart from the glaringly bad quality, physics, and performance, it does seem more vivid.
FM 3-4-5-6-7 = developing = improving what we have FM 8 = oh tripped and landed face first in the shit. Do you think PC is without sin? PC 1-2 we develop, we make almost the best sim/simkadu and a bastard PC3 comes out = mobile phone with sim sauce
