Sometimes there are no good choices. Though the situation goes back millennia, at the heart this most recent state of affairs are the hostages. Will it help them or the world to start WWIII? How much of the decisions being made are out of genuine care for humanity and the planet or ego, economics and pride? "Pride goeth before a fall." What about the connection between Iran and Russia? How would an escalating situation effect Ukraine and beyond? Would Asia get sucked in? What of the world will be left after everything is said and done? What about our kids? Hope everyone involved will consider the wisdom that sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. It's worth it to strive for peace, even if you have to swallow a little pride, even if you are right. Granted, this may or may not be one of those times, but it's crucial to give this full and thorough consideration.
