They're working on resolving some house keeping right at the moment, but we have been hearing they will be having some pretty awesome stuff soon. We'll share as soon as we're allowed ;)

6s 5000 can you send me a picture of placement in battery compartment head on so I can see how far from the forward position your back?

I do it because not doing so would waste a ton of power. If you do a "dirty" go-around, you may need to take a whole go-around out of your power bank. Also, I want to get the plane flying as normal as possible, get to altitude, then get back into a final. Mostly, it's because I want to get the plane FLYING. If you keep into landing flaps, WITH BREAKS, and the large bulky nose gear door on this F-86, you might even get in trouble on the climb out, with the right wind conditions.

Iv had mine 3 weeks 🇬🇧 so brian could've had this the same amount of time but not allowed to review till fms say.

We got it the package Wednesday, 11/22/2023 evening. We filmed our "Unbox, Build, Radio Setup" 11/22/2023 late, starting about 11:00 PM, into early morning hours of 11/23/2023 till about 1:30-1:45 AM, uploaded footage of the "Unbox, Build, Radio Setup" overnight. We then filmed our 2X "Maiden Flights" 11/23/2023, Thanksgiving morning. We uploaded them as we were leaving for family Thanksgiving lunch (and dinner hang out). When we got home, we processed the videos, made thumbnails before going to bed on Thanksgiving evening. It was ready to publish this morning, Thanksgiving / Thursday, 11/24/2023 at 10:00 AM. This is the life we have lived for the majority of our BrianPhillipsRC days - and it sucks the life out of us (or anyone who actually does this stuff)

BAE Hawk 80mm is a FAVORITE plane of mine, but I need some time with this Sabre to see how much I love it in comparison ;)

@BrianPhillipsRC i struggle with a 499 selling price for an 80mm. Huge fan of Fms and A Lot of their edfs.. however i saw videos on this Sabre about a month or so ago....wasnt impressed with the Chinese reviews... Eflite im sure will release this in 6 months with avain and reverse thrust for $569 - $619... Eflite so disappointing on their releases lately, right?

I had it set to 20.4 VDC (3.4VDC per cell) not sure what you saw... Maybe the screen was terrible to see...which can be tough for us in the sun - sorry about that, btw!

This would be a terrible beginner plane. You will end in disaster unless you're very lucky. This plane would make you into an all-too-common statistic we like to call "One and done" meaning, someone who buys the wrong plane, tries and fails, and quits the hobby, never to return. We make it a part of our mission to help discourage this type of outcome, by encouraging people to start with something easier. The good news, you can be flying this plane or something like in just a few short years of effort, if you stick to it. Also, don't hear that as a turn off, as you will LOVE the first few years of difficult enjoyment. It's HARD to do this skill, but you can do it, and there's never been a time in the history of the hobby that it's EASIER to learn how, and never been a lower time investment, getting from the chair to the air, than now. We have tried for about 7.5 years to work with MotionRC and they refuse to partner up with us. I've even spoken to Wes, in a very positive way, but the brass doesn't think they need us, and I tend to think they're AFRAID of what we'll say. We would LOVE to work with MotionRC to review Freewing.

1000000%, BUT to be fair, the wind had be playing it safe, and thus not bringing in the plane as slow as I could otherwise. I bet with calm conditions, she's gonna deliver some greasy, delicious, buttery smooth landings on the mains, and slowed down to a CREEP! I can't wait to try!!!!!

I don't see why not. Given the list of planes your are currently flying, this one should be just fine. I haven't flown the FW version, so can't speak to the differences, but this FMS option is absolutely fantastic. I personally can't wait for some better weather to get some more flights under my belt.
