Hi Brian, can you recall how the Arrows Trekker 1.2m compares to the FMS Ranger 1200mm. I know they are fairly similar and both docile but I want the more sporty / agile of the two.
This was my 3rd plane. Had it for 4 or so years. Its still in one piece. I painted it black and upgraded the gear but man o man , what a great bird. Mine is the competitors 1600mm but flies the same
Anyone know if it will reliably handle 4S? I accidentally ran a 4S pack through mine and it flew just fine, although it handled like a cheetah on crack cocaine. I just wonder how much long term damage it might do to the speed controller.
hi, learnt alot with this vid with my set up - throttle at zero still runs motor adjusted throttle trim to stop motor - first time i had to do this - is this normal?
The ENTIRE build. that would be HUUUUUUGE, and I know HUGE. I'm an expert in HUGE. ;) That would be great, but not sure I can do the entire build without breaking character...but that would be hilarious.
Cherokee. It flies better, but the Cirrus SR22t flies very good too. Both are good, but the Cherokee just had the look, and easier to fly low and slow...which is admittedly a preference issue...so please take it as such. Get both! They are both great! bprc.me/Cherokee bprc.me/CirrusSR22T
Thank you very much for your wonderful presentation of both models! I was able to get a lot of information for my planned purchase. Of course I'm happy for your voting for the Focke Wulf...I live in the city where they were built. Warm greetings from Germany
Glad it was helpful! Thanks! Cool to hear about your location too. The FW-190 is a beauty, so when you get it, you'll be scared the gear will break off like twigs, but they're pretty strong!
There is no transmission - what are you talking about. The Motor is going one way, and switching directions quickly can cause the ESC to "misfire" (but I've not see it yet) or even cause damage to bearing, as I understand it.
A 10 eflite ESC programing. Reverse thrust. At 22.49 time stamp. Can you use a y connection to program both sides . In stead of doing it separately????
Thanks for the honesty. How about if it works for me I'll share with you. Thanks for your long context. I have been able to program every one of my planes because of your channel. Only 8 months in and Dove deep into the Hobby and between the wife and I we have 22 all e-flite planes. And one FMS pa-18 super cub that had a bad out come due to me paralleling a 3s and 4s by mistake. Biggest ball of fire slowly fell in to the lake. Have photos if interested.
Nothing. The chemistry is more stable from about ~2.8 VDC to 4.2 VDC. Too high and you risk a fire. Too low and you risk losing the pack down to unchargeable territory. Also, they can't HOLD charge low like that very well, I think, so that's why 3.8VDC is the "STORAGE VOLTAGE"
The real staggerwing does have retractable gear. My dad and uncle owned the last one built. And it was in a museum for a while and now it is in Kansas some where. The director of the tv show dynasty in the 80 bought it from my dad.
I crashed my Tecnum float plane into a tree on an island …. Set the island on fire ! 60’ ring of fire. Fire boat was called, plane was a total loss. Watch those lithium batteries
Can you make sure the bbq propane tank is full cause we're going to have a big ass party at your house when your gone. Thanks man that will help us alot Lol.

I'm not an EDF/jet guy, but that thing sounds great! Dam's coming along good. Megan, smooth as usual. Brian, you're having waay more fun than the camera crew, therefore in the spirit of fair play, it's time for you to upgrade Megan's diamond. After all, she can't wear an earthen dam, can she? All joking aside, I love your "channel" and your vids. Keep 'em coming and I wish you youngsters the best.
I know you don't set your D/R at what the manufacturer suggested. I tried watching it a few times but can't catch it. What are you setting your D/R . Exp. at . I tried the 70 /100. The 70 is way to sluggish but haven't tried 100 yet. Are you flying at 100?
Of course you love the LEDs all RC Planes should have LEDs... I think LEDs probably cost fractions of a penny. I wonder why all RC planes don't have them. Hmmmmm.
Ever watch Tractor Time with Tim? He just put a pond in. He had to add all sorts of specialized materials to prevent leaking and water loss. He's in Ulen Indiana. You guys should do a team up! I like that yours is more of a true dam reservoir of a creek. As long as the source keeps filling it the water will stay cleaner, and full. Love watching the progression.
Well done for a good video Brian and Mrs Phillips. Its sad that the FCC has got to this point. Luckily in Europe, we have a better system where pilots are registered and planes had a sticker with a number, but that's it. I really doubt the cops here will ever come and check even these. All this crap has is due to abuse by drone pilots I'm afraid. For decades before drones, RC pilots have had no grief and never caused any grief. Most drone pilots will never voluntarily comply with this unless it is built in to the drones, which it will be eventually.
Sounds very nice brain i love it how you explain every thing . Always watching on the other side of the planet from europa belgium´ love all of your videos ´´´🤌👌👌👌👌👌
