Good tip for you mini shop just did a video the one screw that holds your front C hub’s On they screwed in from the front take those out screw them in from the backside if you look when you full steer the knuckleheads the head of the screw it’s only a couple millimeters but it’s a lot when it comes to your steering
I bought the black version too. I absolutely love it! I did the oil shock mod, and you have to make sure the drive shaft u-joints are in phase. But it really runs smooth right now. Next up is some weighted wheels and lowering the stance a bit. Have fun running it, it does climb better than you'd expect with that heavy body.
I've been enjoying it. I honestly haven't torn into to it to figure out whats going on with the binding though. It's also been a lot of fun to just bash it around the back yard a little.
Awesome I’ll be watching out for that parts that you make, I did get a set of skid plates for the front DEF housing from 3 Flow9 RC thank you for sharing catch you on the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍😎
Hi grizzly im kinda shocked u have that binding issue with your k5 i have the brown one and it definitely did not have the binding issue might be a factory thing i figure the truck does come with o rings to turn your shocks into oil i did that and it definitely improved the handling on it ! Also the slow crawl on this thing is just on another level for a stock rig it modulates exceptionally and the extra plug on the lights is for rear lights i believe fms may be or has and optional rear light upgrade as far as i know thats what the extra plug is for
Thanks for the info. The binding is something internal. I had it running for about 45 minutes today and it's gotten worse. Now if I lock the steering left or right it won't drive in 1st gear. In 2nd it will actually make the front end hop. I'm going to take it all apart and figure it out.
@@grizzlyworksrc ohh boy hope u can get it right bummer it came like that but its what this hobby is all about thats why we love it hehe 👍 goodluck im sure youll figure it out!!
Looking back I was a little harsh on it, but at the price point it had a lot of competition. It's a very fun truck though. The binding issue ended up being a pin that was missing from one of the CVD shafts. After getting that fixed the truck was nice and smooth.
