Maiden Flight of the FMS J-11 (Su-27) Twin 70mm EDF. This is FMS update of the old E-Flight Su-30
with more powerful motors and very cool military colors. Awesome scale details and easy wing management adds to the cool factor. Not a very fast flyer, but this fighter definitely has alot of presence in the air.

Well done on the flight. Can I suggest you do a video showing how to program flaperons and tailerons using Ethos when you mod the model. It would be a great practical demo of the programming and would be a first for Ethos. Thanks E.

Sure! Will probably throw something together on one of my existing setups. Then show how to rewire the J-11 for Tailerons and Flaperons in a more detailed video.

Good morning, I just purchased this model and I have some questions about centering. apart from the recoil of the battery, did you put weight on the rear to obtain the correct VG? Should it be centered at 145 mm with the landing gear extended or retracted? excuse my english thank you for your reply

The plane already has a massive weight between the rudders . I don’t think adding more tail weight will help 🤷🏽 I removed mine but, still haven’t maiden the plane so we’ll see.

Our field has a very long taxi way. There are alot of giant scale aircraft that fly here. So the field is designed to protect the staging area and people in case of emergency situations or accidents.
