Let’s be honest if you’re looking to buy a gun and you want to know everything about it you go to this man. He has the ultimate opinion on the gun period
Thanks for the confidence, but it's best to get lots of opinions from different sources. I'm biased, just like everybody else. I have my preferences, and my experience is different from others' experience. At least, though, there's ZERO influence from gun makers on our channel. And I don't know about you, but I can smell gun company influence in a video from a mile away. :-)
Ive been watching your videos for over a decade now, purchased over a dozen firearms from watching your videos, kept up with Johns comedy and have been so thankful for your content the entire way. But man, when Hickock holds the 509 with one hand and just casually hits the gong at 100 yards, this man will be lethal even after his last breathe!
Tall sights aren't just for the suppressor. They are for being able to coexist with any red dot you'd put on it as to have the sights align perfectly with your dot. But works for suppressor usage also it seems. Excellent gun. Just a pricey one but worth it given the package
You sure are good man sir, I admire your vigor for firearms. You deserve nothing but the best. I'm positive you influence many people's perspective on firearms in a positive way. And I really appreciate that.
I remember first hearing about the FN Five-seveN from the movie collateral. The cops in the movie said, this pistol is more like something from a battlefield, not your average pistol. The guy who’s using this knows what he’s doing. Collateral was a great movie!
@@unnainconnu9098 There must be some weird Mandela effect thing because I remember the scene where they discussed the FN being used, said the bullets look like something similar to an assault rifle but smaller, and the main detective said it’s more like something you’d find on a battlefield than on the streets of LA. Anyone ever seen this version of Collateral?
This FN509 Compact review is impressive, even with the glitch, bro. Springfield, Glock, SIG, S&W, and any other major manufacturer probably has an equivalent piece of machinery. But this one seems really nice. Thanks man.
I keep coming back to this channel and is probably one of the best I've ever seen in a long time and wish I was in a position to grow up around him. Those that did I'm sure he was a great father and grandfather to grow up with. As with anything today in society we must teach our young to understand which today we see around us that is not the case that is why there's so many issues why there's very little respect for many things We all grew up with weapons handguns with a gun manufacturer in our backyard and ranges and clubs in which to join no one in my County has done the things that I've seen in this country lately!!!!! Cheers to Hickok45!!💪😉 Keep those videos coming love watching them and what a sharpshooter he is!!
even Hickok forgets to put a spring in from time to time and doesn't remember right away how to fix it...even when he messes up he makes me feel good :)
Like everything else, there are only two categories of people... Those that have done it, and those that haven't done it yet. Keep rockin' the world, Hickok45... and we'll rock it with you.
I've seen comments where people complain about the Sunday Shootarounds. "I don't have an hour to watch this." Well, be a big boy or girl and don't. You have the power. Go away. I have watched all 49, hope to watch #50 soon.
Even all the way here in The UK I can see that is a high quality firearm, but I do like the idea of that "heavy" gen 5 Glock 23. If I could only have one? I can't have ANY !
That's wrong, whilst on the mainland UK you can't have generally have handguns beyond limited capacity humane killers there are plenty of firearms you can have. Misinformation aids gun control - too many people think you can't have anything.
@@contactacb Yes,I agree, l did speak out of turn and in error, what I should have said is " generally it is much harder to get a gun in the UK than in the US" I don't know the firearm laws at all, so can you tell me which Glock any British person can own in the same way someone in Tennessee can? All the best.
@@irondog8250 Northern Ireland any one you want (other than the G18 of course) mainland would be long barrelled version if one is made unless you are one of the elusive non state agency s5 license holders (which do exist, there are legally held fully automatic WW1/WW2 Vickers Guns out there with a private historical group)
Suppressors should be legal for health reasons, imagine all the older men you look up to that you have to speak a little louder too. I just want them to have healthy hearing, and all of us as well. I'm not a criminal.
Tinnitus is a bitch. No joke, I say huh? and what? a lot more since our overloards insist on masks. I did not realize it is easier to "hear" when you are able to see a persons face and mouth while conversing. What a sad state of affairs.
I love your informative videos thank you so much for your videos I picked up this 509c and it’s just amazing i really like the oversized sights there perfect in my opinion.
@@harveymanfrantinsingin7373 I bought it in august mine is a diff generation than the ones with that issue and no I have not had a firing pin issue or any issue for that matter. Must have been made on a Wednesday lol
I use Ballistol oil to it is good stuff nothing harmful in it and good to cook your eggs in 😂 no joke it’s best gun oil I ever used, great video Hickock as usual.
fabrique nationale ? beautiful pistole. Suppression is cool if your neighbors are gun sensitive ( if you have neighbors ), but the feds are going to unlawfully wonder why you need to quieten down your pistoles if you don't. None of their business. Thank you Bud's for sharing the gun.
That sucks man. Just remember, if you can, buy in small quantities every week/two weeks/month, whatever you can afford. Maintain that stockpile as best you can.
@@MikeDindu yes brother man... Thats the Idea... But politics down here are so screwed that they maneged to convince alot of ppl that rully goverments are good and that only they should have have weapons.... Untill last years a civilian could only have up to a 380 acp, and they made It seem like thats too much already
HEY WILL YOU LOOK AT THAT?!?! That's actually the puppy that I considered to be the best personal carry defensive weapon....... If you're talking about small side arms. I actually used to walk around carrying that with my conceal and carry license
Go ahead and call it a "Silencer". That is what it was originally called! From the entry on Wikipedia: "American inventor Hiram Percy Maxim, son of Maxim gun inventor Hiram Stevens Maxim, and co-founder of the American Radio Relay League, is usually credited with inventing and selling the first commercially successful silencer around 1902. He received his patent on March 30, 1909. Maxim gave his device the popularly trademarked name "Maxim Silencer," and it was regularly advertised in sporting goods magazines. The muffler for internal combustion engines was developed in parallel with the firearm silencer by Maxim in the early 20th century, using many of the same techniques to provide quieter-running engines, and in many English-speaking countries automobile mufflers are called silencers."
Some folks are saying the 509c frame cracks with the +p ammunition. Haven't shot it myself but I wanted to say something in case you haven't heard about it. May be worth a search. Happy and safe shooting.
Hickok: huh what gun should I take out today? Me: uses same gun I have a few but I only have one good one that has lazer, light, grip, with scope. My favorite gun is an ar 15 but I like the way an ak 47 looks, I cant get an ak rn because I can't find em lol
