The most scary thing is that he is hiding. In the previous games it was like the animatronics didnt try to hide as if they are not fully aware. But here this is a human, he is aware of his surroundings and his intentions are perfectly clear. He is here to kill you.
I would say freddy from the first game’s abilities are on par with springtrap. The difference is i think Freddy wants the player to find him while springtrap is trying to hide to him and is usually only caught by accident. Notice how he would be literally invisible on the dinning room and bathroom cameras if he didn’t have glowing eyes. Plus one of the cameras he goes to is the kitchen aka, the only one in the building thats out. Hell is literally able to hide in the office both when the power goes out and when he’s about to jumpscare the player.
The thing I love about these locations is how it shows springtrap moving to the next camera location, it’s terrifying because the route he takes is so clear and you know he’s heading straight for you, especially how he looks at the cameras almost like telling the player “I’m coming for you”
fnaf 3 jumpscares aren't that scary fnaf eventually sacrificed "scariness" for lore, if you take away the fact he's supposed to be a person it's not that scary
@@MickeyMouse-lm6zj idk… I think FNAF 4 and Sisters location FNAF help wanted were legit on the jumpscares! Not so much of Security Breach unless we talking Moon
Sorry but I don't find it scary knowing it's a man in a suit. I find ghosts a lot scarier. I just don't like the FNAF idea of ghosts of children killing people.
FNAF 1 - Conserve Energy FNAF 2 - Learn to Micro FNAF 3 - Look very closely FNAF 4 - Listen very carefully FNAF 5 - Move either slowly or quickly FNAF 6 - Learn to manage a business
Yeah in Fnaf 2 it makes sense because the vents are right outside the office so the cameras likely are aswell But, in fnaf 3 the cameras are in the middle of the vents and they have there own system. Very large indeed.
@@majinprince-xanaden I find it funny that nearly all the buildings in the fnaf universe are designed with vent shafts large enough for an 8 foot animatronic to crawl through. On the other hand, it almost seems like some kind of conspiracy. Like in fnaf 2, there is only 2 vents in the entire building, and they both just so happen to lead directly into both sides of your office. Honestly seems kind of sus if you ask me
In previous games, you face off against animatronics possessed by children. They have no idea how to hide. This time, you're up against an animatronic possessed by a killer. This killer knows how to hide, but he also taunts you by looking at the camera.
I don’t think he’s taunting you. He’s either doing two things, intimating you by looking at you. He knows the camera faces him, and to remind the player that he WILL kill him. The other looks, like the last shot of him in the vents or the exits are him directly looking into the camera super close. He hates you. He wants to leave. He hates the idea of being caught and a random ass security guard catching HIM of all people. He wants to kill you for his freedom, but you won’t let him. And that’s why he not just looks at you angrily in the cameras, but with intimidation as well.
Freddy from fnaf 1 is aware of the cameras, attempting to hide from them occasionally. You can see the tiny points of light that are his eyes, hiding in dark corners and doorways until he reaches your office door, then he just stares at you.
This game's aesthetic and ambiance is so good. Decrepit, deceased, and left to rot. And Springtrap is still one of the best designed horror antagonists ever made. Looking at him hiding or glaring at the screen still gives me serious creeps to this day.
nothing scares me more than the puppet being in the hallway, still intact, just a figment of the human mind or a soul that just projects the peak of their life to be seen to others, just floating with no movement, staring down the hall of horror that has been bastardized into an attraction to make money off trauma, perhaps displeased.
FNaF3's camera layout made a much better effort to help the player build a cohesive map in their heads of the place. Little touches like the arcade machine from camera six (2:08) being visible through a doorway in camera five (2:12) go a long way to establish how the rooms physically connect to one another.
Some of these are still hard to see even without the static If springtraps eyes aren’t there you have to actually look to find him most the time. It honestly makes perfect sense why some people never check cam 6.
Springtrap is one of true creepiest characters in fnaf because his backstory is really good and he is uncanny because in the other fnaf games, you are being chased by animatronics and the only thing that makes them scary is that they have souls but in fnaf 3,the only enemy you actually have is springtrap,he moves just like a human,he knows you are watching him and he also knows you and him are the only ones there, there is no child,he only follows it because the springbonnie suit was programmed to go where theres noise.he was a killer who got a gruesome fate,he was killed in the worst way possible while his victims watched and then just dissapeared.he stayed still for 30 years until they finally found him and put it as the main attraction( *i think even a baby would know putting an animatronic in such bad condition as a main attraction for a place is one of the worst ideas ever but im not questioning it...* )he is a corpse of a child murderer wich is permanently stuck in an animatronic suit and he was burned along with the pizzaria... *_he hates everyone and everyone hates him_*
@@jestfullgremblim8002 he did go straight, the only problem for him is the suit, since it's still on animatronic mode, it follows kid noises automatically without Williams command
Springtrap is the scariest character in fnaf. Both in game and just the character itself. This rotting corpse of a kid killer that’s permanently fuzed to a an animatronic suit that you know hurts to move and hurts to live in general, driving the guy inside more and more insane forever
Imagine how terrifying this would be. It’s like you can’t escape, you might think springtrap isn’t cautious of who is in this building but springtrap knows exactly what he is doing and what he is here for. You can’t run since he can move around the whole attraction in like seconds, can’t hide because he would’ve already known where you’ve hid, and you can’t defend yourself with anything. Your best cards here are accepting your fate, or setting the whole building on fire making sure springtrap doesn’t escape
I remember when springtrap ran behind the tablet inside the office, my cousins and I would start yelling and shut down the game because of the nerves XD
Ikr. I kinda wish that run was animated differently because it's silly and kinda detracts from the mood. Especially with how sinister Springtrap is compared to the other characters
@@anothermiddleschoolburnout8816 bro its already good like that, the animation just last 1 sec and theres the tablet in front of you so u cant really see him running, dont complain its hard to make a game alone
FNAF was the last game or movie to actually scare me, after that the closest thing to that was the thrill of being chased in Alien Isolation. I never really figured out why was it so scary to me, but right now i realize it: The eyes, they're the opposite of uncanny, everything looks so fake and made out of plastic, but the eyes look human, i can't explain how, but even the black eyes of the ghosts look real to me, and that's terrifying.
@@Olabruh my man, I played BioShock, SOMA, Cry Of Fear, FNAF, Slender, Amnesia and Alien Isolation, are there any horror games better than those out there?
@@LoquendoversoIT off the top of my head, the nun massacre, madison, visage. These 3 games i feel do ambience, environment, sound design, and build up better than a lot of horror games. I would put res 7 biohazard but u have weapons in that game so its not as powerful. I can't really think of others cause super scary games are always niche which kinda sucks.
This is the most underrated Five nights at Freddy’s game I have to say first and foremost that I mostly just a fan of one through four just because there’s such an nostalgia with the way that the games were set up with similar patterns of repetition, but also really eerie sounds and imagery but I really enjoyed number three a lot more than most people of course I would agree that number two is probably the most fun but number three I had so much fun playing and really enjoyed the scenery

I don't give a flying Dutchman if people hated FNaF 3's jumpscare. Or lack there of even I admit it, but this one to me had the most dread. As other comments gave said, Spring Trap being a human and all, it's so so much worse. He's toying with the player by hiding in corners, juuuust enough to make you question if he's really there or not.
Even without the static, the shadows and low lighting make it difficult to spot Springtrap. Also, WHY did the designers of this building decide to put security cameras inside the ventilation shafts of all places?
Had it not been for this vid, i would have never known Springtrap actually has three frames when he's stalking the office. Wasn't aware of the one where before he's peeking his head past the doorframe.
The most scary fact in *FNAF 3* is that you are working in a horror attraction based on the bad things that happened in the franchise of Fazbear Entertainment. But, while you work... there is an animatronic... a different... a dead human inside of a springlock suit... SpringTrap. For me, SpringTrap is the most scary animatronic in *FNAF* because he is the corpse of William Afton, that died by a springlock failure 30 years ago... It's so real and horrifying...
FNAF 3 used to be my least favorite game in the entire franchise, but after getting good at it, it’s not bad whatsoever. I always found it near impossible to locate him on the cams but that adds to the fact that he’s human and fully aware. I also love the ambience, the music, the lighting, and the secrets. After rethinking how I view this game, I’d have to give it a 7.5/10.
i've always felt insane for thinking that this game is easily the scariest fucking fnaf game by far. it almost makes it scarier that i'm like, the only person who considers this game downright terrifying.
2:31 in this sepcific shot, you can see how he is still human and curious, but cautious, and i think its just the aura, and the fact its you and him in a building, as he chases what he believes are kids but are just tapes of kids, and also (and this just personal belief), how the spirits take the form of the phantoms, and if i can point it out too, but how you can see he still can feel the weight, as hes always got his weight on one foot, and also how some of the shots have the arcade games just on, espicially when theyre just...near him idk, but same as the posters changing and its so eey as he is kinda just in his own little world, and he can sometimes be aware of some cameras, and that theres one person, somewhere watching him. take it w a grain of salt, but the vent cams have (seemingly) lights, which youd think would kinda just pi$$ him off yk,espicially if you watch the last one, idk just throwing crap out there
He doesnt chase the sound because he thinks its kids,he is smart enough to know you and him are the only ones in the building.he only chases the sound because the springbonnie suit is programmed to go to places that there is noise (phone guys says this in one of the pnhne calls*
Crazy thing to notice the reason the animatronics that are on display like bonnies torso and head and chicas head light up because of the spirts still there its just sad to see they werent free and couldnt do anything but watch.
i recently got back into the games and i remeber seeing him, in the part he runs in front of you and losing my mind bcuz i thought it was an update or sumn lolool
