Who, the one speaking? No, that's Henry, William (purple guy)'s old business partner that made most of the animatronics. William is the scraptrap dude burning in the fire at 1:29 .
Okay, I get that the William line is cool and all, but the sheer emotion in "This place will not be remembered, and the memory of EVERYTHING that had started this can finally begin to fade away" is just... wonderful. Its Henry's fault aswell these bad things happened. Literal chills.

MADELYN HAWKINS Nah dude they have to start from fnaf 4 to then fnaf 3. Or from fnaf 2 to fnaf. But it just makes more sense to start at the actual beginning not fnaf 1.
Elizabeth's soul, trapped in a robotic mess with a dream and a goal came to the 'pizzeria' like a baby returning to her father, but here, the father, a brutal murderer, (and a furry lmao) a cold hearted person, trapped, hurt, and brutally damaged in a same excruciating place for 30 years due to his own ego over his victims that he killed , but still lived on through sheer will. Henry, the friend of a murderer he didn't even realise till the murder of his most precious daughter, locked himself in the 'pizzaria' so that none of the monsters can let free, so that none of the murders can happen, so that none of the children die and the father grieves and especially, so that his friend finds his spot in the deepest darkest pits of hell. The daughter of Henry, a poor soul, locked outside in the cold rain while her friends played in the warm safe room, murder by the man behind the slaughter, an unfortunate soul who possessed a security robot called puppet, guided many other victims to possess other animatronics, to give them a second chance at life, was trapped in a suit designed to contain her and took her as well to this hell of a 'pizzeria' along with many more bots. Micheal schmidt or in reality, Micheal Afton, the son of the man behind the slaughter whose skin became purple after he rotted in it alive, 'possessed' by an amalgamation of robots who took this unfriendly task knowing who he is dealing with to end it all, to end the very man who brought him into this world, His Father and finally, us the players for giving the hope for Micheal to end his nightamres he had, to end the pain of them all, to end the man who did this all, us, the players restarting the game over and over like a dog trying to catch it's own tail, the closer it seems, the further it gets away but nevertheless managed to strive through the deaths, the jumpscares and the screams, to get to an ending.... Not a happy fairytale ending but a sad ending showing how in reality, nothing has a 'happy' ending
the way he says the line "i shouldve known you wouldnt be content to disappear. not _my_ daughter." NEVER fails to make me cry, or at least tear up. despite his voice being rather monotone, you can feel the emotion. its a rather stark reminder that these children were people, with personalities, and lives, and people who loved them. and who were devastated by their deaths. deaths that shouldve never happened. i dont care what future installments this series has, this will always be fnafs true ending to me. security breach isnt a completely awful game, as much as i complain about it. and im perfectly okay with other people liking it. but as far as a canonical timeline goes, it doesnt exist to me, and it can suck my ass, because theres nothing more cathartic than seeing this pos FINALLY get what he deserves.
I REALLY hope the mimic thing is them trying to retcon burntrap, because William coming back from this ending just feels wrong. He’s dead now, for good. They can do the digital soul remnant thing if they want, but Springtrap is dead.
fun fact: scott cawthon has stated that the whole reason why he made pizzarea simulator was purely to give the FNAF series a proper conclusion. he didnt do it for attention, he didnt even do it for money, he just silently worked on it for a year and released it for free

@@plaguenplay3516 No matter how much people talk about security breach being canon, this will always be the true ending. And the rest to me is just an acceptable fnaf reboot.
I will continue to believe that the lore ends here, with UCN as a nice little bow around it. I can still appreciate the "beauty" of the games later on, but I choose to take what is possibly the best written monologue in video game history as the perfect ending.
A theory says that the other games are in a parallel universe where it all happened the same at first but after this split up and continued but the original stayed the same and I like it because I love the lore of the other games but this ending gets me
Ive always loved the idea of UCN as an epilogue to the fnaf story with us playing as Afton as he battles enternally in Hell against all the people he harmed.

Your lust of blood has driven you in endless circles. Chasing the cries of children in some unseen chamber. Always seeming so near, yet somehow out of reach. But, you will never find them, none of you will. This is where your story ends. And to you, my brave volunteer. Who somehow found this job listing not intended for you. Although, there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that's not what you want. I have a feeling that you are right where you want to be. I am remaining as well. I am nearby. @@Guuuun_ I think by this time in the story, Henry is probably in his 70s or 80s. He's had a good life. So he wants to make sure he doesn't leave loose ends.
"I have a way out planned for you, but i doubt that's what you want--I have a feeling you're right where you want to be". Something tells me that Scott understood that even the players were wanting a proper conclusion to the series. This rings true when you consider that alot of players don't accept the Steelwool Saga to be cannon, or they consider it to be a new timeline entirely.
"...although for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole, so don't keep the devil waiting, old friend." You don't just keep a franchise going after THAT FUCKING BRILLIANT LINE
Believe me, I love Security Breach, but there are no words to describe how genius and epic this speech is. I will never get over how brilliant a line at 1:28 and the line at 1:03 is. Especially what Henry said about his daughter was very heartbreaking. If Security Breach is canon and did take place after Pizzeria Simulator, I hope that it will be the last and final FNAF game to be made in the FNAF universe. William has already burned in 3-4 fires and I'm hoping that Ruins will be the final thing to tie the FNAF story all together with maybe having a big Afton virus blob boss battle between Cassie or Gregory. Other than Steelwool, I will forever thank Scott for inspiring my love for animating, drawing, creating stories, and playing a big role in my childhood. End communication. *_Beep_*
Mine is "Although for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole so don't keep the devil waiting old friend" because it is such a violation and hard to recover from. Best oneliner in the history of oneliners.

@@CrazyMatthew-dm5ri I think it serves to further divide him and William, with Henry still acknowledging and loving his daughter's spirit, as if she was still "there", while William on the other hand was abusive and mistreated his children.
@@kikrinman1450I don't think william was that bad of a parent, sure he rarely had time for his children and all that but he rarely ever hurt them in anyway. even though we don't have much info I think we can all assume that after his youngest sons death he was heartbroken and truly felt remorse for his son, though it was taken a bit to far as he just wouldn't let go of the tragedy.
1:29 that line “although for one of you the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole so don’t keep the devil waiting old friend.” Always sends a chill down my spine.
I felt like a hole was in my heart after I heard Henry's speech towards his daughter, and almost cried. "No one was there to lift you into their arms, the way you lifted others into yours" Really made an impact on the storyline. Charlotte/Charlie had a good relationship with their father, even if he had work. Unlike William who was always working and leaving Mrs. Afton or Michael to care for the youngest. And the fact he has stated this speech with no stuttering is amazing. Scott, thank you for this amazing ride within the games, this is and always will be, the true cannon ending. Another thing Me after hearing this; its enough to make a grown man cry
the line “ i couldnt save you then, so let me save you now “ was executed so well, despite the monotone, you can feel his sorrow and regret for what happened to his daughter. gives me chills every time. honestly henrys va did so well
You can also feel his pride that, despite being shut out and murdered, she still wanted to protect others. Him knowing that nature won’t fade is good parenting
its amazing, its my favorite line in his speech (besides the one about william going to hell) i still get the feeling of agony, suffering, love and the peace of knowing everything will end soon from him even years later. henry's speech was PERFECT and the execution even more so. ill never shut up over what a masterpiece it is.
Not many things come close to bringing me to tears, but this sure as hell takes the cake Every sentence this man uttered made me feel everything, it's not just a cocky monologue or some end of the world speech, it's simply aa broken man's best attempt to resolve all the damage he helped cause, even though it ended up failing, you can feel the pure acceptance in Henry's voice, definitely top 10 favorite video game cutscenes
"I am remaining as well. I am nearby." always gives me chills. Both as a cold, badass statement of accepting his death, and as a heartwarming reassurance to the protagonist that they aren't dying alone. If I were in that situation, I can't tell you how much peace it would give me to know that somewhere probably within thirty feet of me, he was sitting and waiting, exactly as I was.
@@boilingbanana3579 it would be logical, but he is described to be suicidal. In the books, how he dies, that's what I'm meaning- because of Charlie dying. It would make more sense for him to stay alive, but he more than likely died due to his perspective of his life worth, he probably burned with us and it's unfortunate because his sacrifice means nothing from SB.
i will never get over this speech even now in 2023! it is amazingly executed and is what i think would have been the best conclusion to the series (if scott chose to finish here). but since it didn't end here, i think it's a great turning point in the story or a great ending before a new beginning. i have so much praise for this voice actor too, he did just an excellent job. i get goosebumps every time!
If you ask me, this is FNAF’s canonical ending. This was so well written, such a fitting and emotional ending. The voice actor for Henry and the writer absolutely killed this, and it’s honestly breathtaking. The continuation of the series with William, honestly feels like this entire speech was for nothing. Like the buildup to this was for nothing at all. If you ask me. This should have been the finale. The end of it all, money is great and all but when it continues for too long it’s just.. tiring. This was a flawlessly executed ending. If they were that desperate for more money / fans, they could have introduced a new killer, (I.e; make Vanessa scarier and make her the new villainess for her own reasons) Or made separate, smaller games, to bridge the gaps on what we as a community couldn’t figure out in the lore. Both are viable options. Sticking with William was not. As a die hard fan since the first game, I’m tired. I love the games and the lore but after this it just got tired, endless, boring. It’s really unfortunate
@@Game_Byle and she really had no story relevance. For such a lore heavy game, you’d think Vanny for being such an emphasized character would actually effect / be involved in the story
when you look at Help Wanted and how Afton got into it, you realize that it's another version of William. The way Glitchtrap got into the game was because when making the game, they decided to scan old animatronic chips. While the original Springtrap Afton was killed in the fire, the digital version of him managed to survive. This is somewhat confirmed with UCN because it's literally William's hell, being subjected to dying and fighting against all kind of animatronics. At the end of Help Wanted Vanessa was infected by Glitch to where it influenced her decision-making to his benefit while she made a new suit for him to control.
@@brute6896 yeah and it’s very cool they linked vanny into the story that way but for Sb she’s still very very irrelevant through a majority of the game
I just watched the fnaf movie, and i liked it, but goddamn i keep coming back to this speech, genuinely one of the best, most emotionally impactful endings to any videogame i've played, chills, every single time.
It’s very impactful hearing him say everything else with such a steady demeanor, even cursing William to hell with a calm voice, but when he says “my daughter, if you can hear me…” the slight wobble in his voice is rough

Everything after UCN takes place in an alternative universe. It definitely is extremely simular to the original one that we see in FNAF 1-6 & UCN, but it's still an AU. The OG animatronics don't match appearances with the FNAF 6 ones, plus a lot of the stuff that happened in VR Help Wanted couldn't have been known by Fazbear Entertainment from the main universe, for example Nightmare Animatronics. Plus, the ex-employee we hear from in those cassete tapes says that all the stuff we see in Help Wanted is just a cover-up for what really happened at Freddy's. Meaning that in this new universe, the events of FNAF 1-6 are made up. That being said, good old MatPat will use any bullshit ways to tie the new lore to the original one, because views.
Should we try to form a whole thread on reddit just trying to make SB not exist? UCN is just what micheal is experiencing, or william, I don't know really, so it can stay, but Fnaf 6 was a arguably better ending than SB was.
I feel bad for Henry Emily. The fact he lost his own daughter really symbolizes the true storyline of FNAF. Not only that, but his own business partner, who he thought was a friend, pretty much killed Henry’s daughter. Scott Cawthon has made a horror game with an INTERESTING story.

every one talks about how Henry's speech is incredible (they're right) i feel like not a lot of credit is given to the music, especially in the first half where its the same 5 notes that never resolve, it just makes it seem more powerful and like its endlessly building up before the release around when he talks about afton

@@andrewclark3330 i heard a theory which explains that Security Breach is the events that took place right before UCN. After Molten Freddy strangled Afton and brought him away with it, it then trapped him within the blob that it became after the fire. The souls that Henry persuaded to rest/move on, remains still. Waiting presumably, for Afton. They probably wished to torture the very person that had led them to become that way, instead of forcing him to die, since he seemed pretty adamant to stay alive. UCN is exactly that. An endless purgatory of life and death cycle, where he could die, resurrected and then killed again.
@@thatbloomer5642 thats a pretty cool theory, however, none of the animatronics from the pizzaplex like Roxanne and Monty shows up to torture Afton in the afterlife due to Ultimate Custom Night being released before Security Breach, though Music Man was introduced in FNAF 6 as a non hostile animatronic

This was a very moving ending. I believe that if scott ended the story here and had UCN as a side game it would be a very good spot. Dont get me wrong. I LOVE FNAF VR. Also the new Security breach but im just saying that if scott wanted to cut it short this would have been the place. Actually pretty much everyone was sceptical about this ending because it's not the first time we've been given an Ending. Fnaf 3 and Fnaf 4 teasers also made us think it was the end. So i guess people suspected more
It's hard to get a sense of grounding from Scott's perspective too because as much as he wants to end the series on a good note, it's such a profitable franchise and I can understand why he would want to continue making fnaf games, not solely because of the money he can make from it but because you can see he truly does love his fanbase. I personally haven't delved into fnaf vr but it is definitely something i'd like to look at.
@@chappyy1355 fnaf vr is a terrifying installment to the series, its definitely worth it. And i also agree with you. Its very clear that he loves the fans and wants to make games for us. We as a fanbase should be there to support Scott. Its the least we could do because his series, to some people, means their entire career and lives. I cant wait for what comes next!
i think the biggest issue is that scott and matpat are constantly running in circles so until matpat stops making videos, or the games stop selling, or both. i don't think the nightmare will truly end for the people who perpetuate it. Scott has more than once said that a story twist happened just to force matpat to change a theory at this point its Scott messing with matpat and the theorists and we all get to enjoy the ride that the games have become.
For me, it’s just the way he accepts that there isn’t anything he can do to save his daughter. He just hopes that there is peace in the end and everyone can leave it all behind them
it hits harder knowing he did what William couldn't. Move on. William tried too hard to bring his family back from the dead which led to even more death and destruction. Henry just wishes anyone involved can go onto the afterlife, free of the suits and rage that bind them

The suspension is lifted when he starts talking to US yet the tension still rises we know that we're dying with him. It all ends on a powerful note (Ignoring the beep). This is what you'd call a perfect, emotional ending that grabs you by the heart and makes you hold your breath to the last second. So it gets you in this way. It also makes a fool out of you if you think it is THE END because oh boy there's an attempt at prolonging the story by trying to copy a Disney Star Wars formula. So it also gets you in that way.
I love how Henry gives a long speech for Scrapbaby and Molten Freddy and, of course, Lefty, his daughter, but for Afton, he gives a short "Go to hell" and "f u" and moves on, like how he deserves.
This ending man, it’s the best ending in any game to me tbh. It’s done so well that I honestly can’t think of anything better than this. The series will cover go on, but this will be the golden time of fnaf, and nothing can stop that… right? I always come back…
This is the canon ending, atleast to me. It’s so magical. The souls finally being set free and William dying. Michael and Henry burning with the building, ending the saga.
@Aldo Cassidy doesn't have a reason to be vengeful as William has died imo. Cassidy only stayed vengeful throughout the series to make sure William would die. Cassidy also at this point would be merged together with the other kids from the missing children incident via Molten Freddy. Thus she would be more focused on that, and of course Henry's speech, than William staying alive.
I’m revisiting this almost 5 years later, and damn it gives me chills. Help Wanted and SB are both great games, but I feel that this was the perfect ending for this series. Elizabeth was gone. William was gone. Micheal was gone. Henry was gone. Charlotte was gone. Everything had been solved, even if it meant death for the innocents like Henry and Charlotte. William was finally dead. NAH JUST KIDDING HES A GHOST NOW AND HE POSSESSES PEOPLE THROUGH VIDEO GAMES?????????
@@yaymckay you do realize that it’s been established that fire can’t get rid of springtrap in the fnaf 3 ending where he’s still Alive. I was fully expecting William to return because I know that fire doesn’t work
@@Fredfazbear1983 and the other animatronics in the big shit ball of old nostalgia? even old baby was there and she was scrap baby?? after scott left and let steelwool take over it’s been downhill. should ended at fnaf 6
@@yaymckay I think the blob is just every other animatronic melted together and is possessed by Henry in order to keep William at bay, while Michael is possessing Freddy be he says “I am not me”

Lyrics: *Connection terminated.* I'm sorry to interupt you Elizabeth, if you still even remember that name, but I'm afraid you've been misinformed. You're not here to recieve a gift, nor have you been called here by the individual you assume, although you have indeed been called. You have all been called here, into a labyrinth of sounds and smells, misdirection and misfortune. A labirynth with no exit, a maze with no prize. You don't even realize that you are trapped. Your lust for blood has driven you in endless circles, chasing the cries of children in some unseen chamber always seeming so near, yet somehow out of reach. But you will never find them, none of you will. This is where your story ends. And to you, my brave volunteer, who somehow found this job listing not intended for you, although there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that's not what you want. I have a feeling that you are right where you want to be. I am remaining as well. I am nearby. This place will not be remembered and the memory of everything that started this can finally begin to fade away, as the agony of every tragedy should. And to you monsters trapped in the corridors, be still, and give up your spirits. They don't belong to you. For most of you, I believe there is peace and perhaps more waiting for you after the smoke clears. Although for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole, so don't keep the devil waiting old friend. My daughter, if you can hear me, I knew you would return as well. It's in your nature to protect the innocent. I'm sorry that on that day, the day you were shut out and left to die, no one was there to lift you up into their arms, the way you lifted others into yours. And then, what became of you? I should have known you wouldn't be contempt to just disappear, not my daughter. I couldn't save you then, so let me save you now. It's time to rest. For you, and those you have carried in your arms. This ends, for all of us. *End communication.*

“Although there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that’s not what you want. I have a feeling you are right where you want to be. I am remaining as well. I am nearby.” What a perfect way to bring an end to two of the most important characters in the story. Screw Security Breach, screw Help Wanted, screw everything that happened after this. Fnaf ended here.
i love how scott makes this, like, shockingly powerful ending for something like fnaf, and then VR/security breach come along like "HURR DURR, THE ORIGINAL GAMES NEVER HAPPENED!!!!! WILLIAM CAME BACK TO LIFE GUYS!!!!!"
Technically security breach is a prequel, and help wanted is either non cannon, or cannon but in a more 4th wall breaking sense, like how fnaf world isn't cannon but reliefs on context from fnaf 4, "I will put you back together" refers to the player like you the person physically sitting at the computer in the real world, that context is used in fanf world to get the true ending. So help wanted is a similar case, the entire game is a 4th wall break, existing in our reality as a real thing created by fazbear entertainment as if they where a real company.
This is genuinely such a breathtaking piece of writing and Voice acting, being with this franchise day 1, and when I heard this when Pizza Sim first released, I genuinely cried. Not as “Aw no more fnaf” but of “That’s it. Everyone finally passed on, the true evil that is William Afton finally gets the consequences he more so deserves. These characters’ story has finally ended.”. It was like genuinely like as if I knew these characters. I rewatch this every once in a while. Always in awe and melancholy. This Is the ending. Security breach and HW is more of an alternate timeline to me, but this. This is the ending of a true saga. This franchise has shaped who I was, whether that’s for the better or for the worse is another question, but fnaf will always be apart of me. End Communication.
I see the first 6 games as their own arc. I see the newer games as their own arc, so it’s in the same universe as 1-6 but you can see 1-6 as it’s own story
yea I was also with fnaf since day one. it's been 9 almost 10 years since fnaf 1 came out. now wonder why it shaped us when hell, I was only 6 when fnaf 1 came out.

This speech is the perfect thing to "end" off the series. Atleast saga 1 of fnaf. This speech is so delightful to hear its every spirit finally being set free (except William) and hearing Henry address certain characters like his daughter and Michael is so cool. And him saying "I am near by" is so fucking bad ass. He is going down with his creations, his business partner, Michal and his daughter. He says one last goodbye to his daughter and gives her closer that its all over. Henry is truly the hero of fnaf
It is so freaking epic. I honestly don't remember much about fnaf 6 but this particular speech just gives me chills. Now if only Security Breach had done it all justice.
@@TracksWithDax SB overall is like a bad fanfiction after this. The thing is fnaf was never written perfectly and the 6th installment was the perfect wrap up. As in all the story is resolved more or less with a powerful ending that turns it all into an experience. From a story standpoint you really don't want to continue and try to add anything after that simply because you can't. It's not like the tables got turned on us. The tension and any buildup is gone. You can add more lore or try to show the story from a different perspective. Scott did that in the books for example. SB should've been just that. Not a continuation but either a prequel or a side story. It should add something between some of the previous games which adds a new story bit that we can follow, branch out and explore. We know how the world works, why not do a deep dive into the creation of animatronics and what it implies, what if Afton's idea got stolen? After what happened to Mike when the animatronics escaped inside of him. We could be a journalist trying to investigate them from urban legends that the sightings of them created. SB could've worked if it wasn't one game or if it was a looot longer. We know next to nothing about gregory while we know a lot about vanessa. Our MC has no character of his own. He only answers Freddy but aside from that we don't know his thoughts or really anything so it makes the story feel as shallow as a puddle from the start. The endings range from being ok to being written while sitting on toilet, really rushed and not being well executed in the end. While writing this I just realised that they literally did a Star Wars sequels out of this story arc. They tried to subvert expectations and resurrected William while not really exploring how or why and they fell flat.

2020 ending scene. Man, looking back at this comment, I realize how unoriginal it was. But we all came here to see a series end for a bit. An ending that will engrave our minds. Let's appreciate FNaF.
When you look into the lore and everything. This is the most emotional moment in the series. Its like going through all 5 stages of grief in 2 minutes.
