I like how on the thumbnail all the guest stars are giving big smiles like you’d see in a normal thumbnail for something like this but Dan just looks so done with life cause he’s done this so many times
That twist at the end was really cool, both for the channel lore and for the channel videos going forward. I know that people may be upset by the end, but I'm glad that you made the choice that you did. Can't wait to see what the future brings, whatever it is! :D
@@SleepyStaples yep! The loose haired Dan was the true Dark Dan, the one that, even though is absolutely tired of FNaF games, would still keep forcing himself to play them for the sake of views. It's a pretty self-destructive behavior, really. It's funny, how that Dan was getting increasingly anxious and obsessive as the video progressed, while the shadowy, but actually real Dan always kept his composure, already having made his mind.
The reason why Aftonbuilt was rejected was because by the time it was done Scott said he wasn't funding any more games due to the blackmail ring that happened.
I like the idea of Dan's inner demon shadow form is the fear that everyone shares on RU-vid. At first its the idea of being confronted with your past, that you're not living up to what you used to be, until its shown that, no, the dark is the fear of being forced to chase the trend and ruin your own self for the views. That obsessive need of having to do something that you've definitely gotten tired of, and that you feel like you can't change. Its not a fear of the past, but fear of an inevitable future. I'll be perfectly honest, Dan. At this point, the FNAF Fan Games series needed to be put to rest. It had become trend chasing and channel defining to a very high degree, and I agree with the idea of one last video about the franchise as a whole before moving on. One last bow tie video before we see Cybert for what the channel is on its own. And for sure, even after this has all been put to rest and given its proper finale, I'll still be excited for whatever you and Jerika make.

this is an amazing send off the one of the series that helped build your channel, and a great way to address it. i know another channel, soundsmith, that made a series on stereotypes in tf2, but he let it drag in to long, and it was super clear that he wasn’t enjoying it anymore by the end. thank you for not letting yourself get quite to that point, as it’s always painful to watch the people we care about hurt themselves. i wish you the best of luck in your future videos, and i hope that eventually, if you decide you want to, you come back to fang fan games to talk about some of your favourites that you didn’t get to cover in this series.

Those games are really good, its sad that alot of people hate it just cuz of its graphics, i think they fit pretty good with wario and gang, tho the gameplay is the best part of these games, i have never seen anything come close to five shows at wario's to be honest. I just ended up finishing this video right now, I have never really been interested in the FNAF fan games videos because of the FNAF fan games, but because I love all of your videos and no matter what the topic is you manage to make it entertaining. I don't know what it is, but something about your videos has always felt really unique, and this video was great. I was kind of hoping the shadow Dan would stay and end up being a recurring joke, but the way it ended was really good!

I think the reason why Afton Built was rejected is because it needed Scott's money as a way to FUND the game rather than receiving the money as a reward for making a good project. :c It sucks, but Scott isn't a publisher, he's.... Scott.
This was, without a doubt, the best second-last video on this saga (I'll count that FNaF breakdown as the real ending lol) and I'm honestly glad you can move on. I love this videos, but I'm sure with this free time you've now got you'll cover new games you may have never touched before, or some of those you love but haven't had the chance to truly talk about.... .... Either that or we'll get an 8 part series through a lot of years about Earthbound fan-games.
that twist at the end fucking scared me thinking you recorded that two years ago and that the long haired you was the modern version when that's not the case, this series does need a break though absolutely would love to see you cover Doom mods instead, something not alot of channels cover as you have with FNAF fan games and honestly wish they did. especially with stuff like HellBound, Harley's Revenge and Doom Fighters. all mods ive personally played and really love and with GZdoom its as easy as a holding left click and dragging over the GZDoom desktop shortcut. hell mixing them around like what i do every day and experimenting could be an ENTIRE SERIES on it's own
If Your wondering what the music player does in FNAKK, I can make a rough inference. That plankton bot both breaks your fuses and tries to steal the music player, as he can spawn to the sides in front of you rather than just being spawned at the breaker box. If he manages to steal the player, figurines will slowly appear, Spongebob, Patrick, and Squidward. They all have red eyes, and once they all gather, ripperoni.
It's sad to see this series go. But hey everything can't last forever. And there are TO many FNaF fan games out there. But I also enjoy your other videos so I will still have something nice to watch . And yes I am late on commenting here
