Man those Security Breach vhs videos are exactly how the game should've been, darker, more ominous, more Vanny, hell Monty even had a kinda creepier design. The idea of Gregory having to explore the Pizzaplex in complete darkness, only for Monty to escape from his green room and go on a rampage like some wild animal is incredible.

The Michael Afton one was absolutely fantastic! I love seeing small tie-in media that gives context in-between games like this, i.e. the Springtrap to Scraptrap sequence

25:56 I love the detail of the blood inside of Bonnie's head there. Just kinda makes you wonder how the protagonist didn't notice it though.

Spectre* really nailed the atmosphere of his videos, with the seamless greenscreen and the detailed sound design, and the gradual build up of the staff slowly figuring out that faulty electronics aren't why the animatronics are moving randomly.

That Springtrap transfer one left me shook and disturbed, the way that lump of flesh and bone was still able to move was absolutely horrifying.

Whoever did the voice acting/mocap/whatever was required in Spectre's animation did an INSANELY convincing job. I'm not usually unsettled when watching stuff like this, but this one actually had me on edge. Absolute round of applause on that one 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

At 15:47 and at 24:22 the animator used green screen to shoot the footage of the hand grabbing the objects, and then edited it into the animated footage. Battington did this with the newest episode of Harmony and Horror: The Miracle Child ❤️❤️

I love how in the chica one he would usually call her, "chica" but after the first sudden movement he called it "that thing" or "it"

Imma be real that animation of william climbing into scrap trap is a really awesome concept on how he ties himself to the suit like a fleshy noodle.

I love everything about the Bonnie Salvage The fact that only his left arm was salvaged The pose he took when his hips got stuck is the same he has in the corridor in FNAF2 It is incredibly detailed. Insane !

I loved the one with the little girl and Vanny, I loved how it used the classic fnaf monitors design to tell us what happened. Really creative

I just noticed that in the bonny video there was a fourth thing to do in the list "mandatory suicide" and it says, "If you've made it this far you've seen too much. At this point the animatronic should become fully aware and hostile because of your recent tampering. Accept your death with open arms because the door is now locked and you will not escape from this room. Even if you somehow manage to escape this situation, do not assume you have been saved" very creepy stuff.

honestly, kinda curious that the audio causes the animatronics to move. Did Henry find out more about how the spirits react to Audio? I mean, the chances of luring all the possessed animatronics is kinda hard. Like, the amount of research he's had to have conducted on his own to learn all these things without being in direct contact with them is immense. Makes me think we don't know eveything about Henry in canon fnaf

Spectre's FNaF videos legitimately are terrifying, even just as a watcher. There's two of them, and he has another releasing tomorrow (on Halloween of 2022, fittingly). Good stuff, they make you tense and weak by the end of them, even on a rewatch knowing exactly what will happen. Withered Chica during 'The Salvage' says "It hurts so bad, I can't breathe" and then sobs for a moment, not laughing. And yes, he greenscreens his real hands into the videos to make them look so real. That means he also spends absolutely ages lining up the camera view in the animation with that of those shots, and that he makes real props for it. As for the Bonnie tape, the fourth clause - the fourth paragraph, if you will - of that document is rather interesting. It's titled 'mandatory suicide' and details FazEnt's less than ethical way of keeping things quiet. Anyways, I do find it interesting that, when one of the animatronics looks to someone when it wasn't supposed to, they never point out that 'oh, it likely has a facial locking feature so it can seem to talk directly to audience members or kids or whatever'. Would easily explain away the stuff they don't want to think about.

The fact that Lewis can actually sit through some of these and watch them all the way through is admirable.. that checklist with chica freaked me out!! Good job! Great video too!

I understand why they chose Withered Chica for the salvage animation. Withered chica stands out as being one of the most genuinely unsettling characters in the franchise. The horror isn’t over exaggerated like the nightmares, and the eyes are so freaky.

I watched the withered Bonnie one the other day as it came up in my recommended. Probably the scariest VHS I’ve ever seen besides the Sound Response one and the Scrap Baby one I saw

13:01 I'm not usually one to pick on when acting is particularly good or bad because I'm bad at noticing that stuff. But after seeing so much sub par acting in internet stuff, especially internet horror, this stands out. It makes him feel like a real person, He's a fun character, and the acting made him feel believable. Whoever acted for main character in this short, great job.

I love what the creator did with Vanny and the cameras, instead of putting a jumpscare at the obvious place to put they leave you with the implication of watching a murder happen

21:29 can we talk about how shitty Henry's plan is for a sec? We all get distracted by his cool monolog but when you think about it his plan shouldn't've worked. He wanted some rando to show up and put his life on the line instead of himself, to gather everyone in one place, and then burn them. Because that worked out so well the last time.

I think they made it so you couldn’t hear the first thing chica said so the guy wouldn’t be too freaked out he’d leave but if I had to guess I’d imagine she said something like “it hurts so bad I can’t breathe”

Springtrap touching the fence and it moving while he pulls his face off felt so real I forgot I was watching through a screen fr, I saw that the puppet didn't have their mask which is a cool detail that battington noticed because in FNaF 3 the puppets mask is on the wall in one of the cams

I'm very glad I watched this because otherwise I would've never seen some of these incredible videos and creators. These videos honestly capture the horror of fnaf so perfectly that I don't think anything official could ever reach this sort of surreal horror, it's too perfect to come true. Anyways great video dawko, even if it's just reactions it's really nice to hear your thoughts on what the franchise should've been like, especially with SB. Plus this video just gave me a few more people to subscribe to B-)

My personal favorite entries were the Micheal Afton and Withered Bonnie animations. Mainly because they both did so well with their respective animations, and even gave their own takes on FNAF lore, with the Michael video showing how Springtrap could have possibly switched suits in-between games, while the Withered Bonnie animation showed how Old Bonnie got into the state he was in FNAF 2.

Random Theroy: The reason that weird screen effect that appears whenever Vanny's near is because she uses an illusion disk, used to disorient her victims. It also has an electic pulse that messes up camera and audio equipment.

My question to scott if i ever met him is the question Why is it that children in fnaf become extremely hyperactively aggressive upon possessing a robot, like they go from sweet children to homicidal terminators. or do the kids just play and tease the night guards and don't know they are killing them

i'm so happy that they chose withered chica instead of the more popular 3. withered chica is my favorite withered because 1: how she has no eyelids giving here a blank stare 2: her jaw broken forcing her mouth to be open looking like she's ready to kill you whenever 3: how her arms are usually spread out making her look much bigger than you 4: i don't know if you see it like everyday but since i think she is the least popular out of the 4 you don't see her images as often so you don't get used to them faster like the others since there so popular they kinda lost the scary for me because i have seen the images so often getting used to them making them not as scary anymore.

I think its really funny how me, as the viewer, doesnt get scared by the jumscares because theres so much fnaf content out there that ive become desensitized to all of it, but dawko, a horror game youtuber, still gets scared by little things like a character change thats super predictable. edit: no offense to dawko cause i love his videos but man, its more enjoyable knowing hes still scared of this stuff

I always thought that the reason why the pizzaria sim animatronics was because it was a story of why the place burnt down and they're based off of descriptions and not pictures but lefty is accurate because he saw the light of day

For what the SB "VHS" videos were able to have with the original game's material, the creator did a pretty good job with the buildup, fake-out, and payoff with both videos. and correct me if I'm wrong but I think Lockdown was made after the Monty one and I can see they knew the design of the characters were just not as scary and instead steered to audio-visual storytelling instead, it's pretty cool.

It was inevitable we'd get this during October.
