OMG Ryan and Ryan! You HAVE to go listen to the phone call on night 4 of FNAF 3!!! In it you hear Phone Guy talking about how you aren't supposed to use the spring lock suits because of some "unfortunate incident", involving multiple spring-lock failures, at the SISTER LOCATION!!! He says that the "classic" suits are being retired because of this! Maybe THEY'RE the classic suits being retired to the location we see in the trailer!!! He says the words in the phone call!!! This HAS to be something!!!
I have a theory that would maybe solve the microphone mystery and the "don't hold it against us" line. On the anamatronics and in the control room you have a speaker/microphone. The control room has a glass panel that could be overlooking the show that they put on, controlling lighting, sound etc, but also, the anamatronics are voice activated, they will do whatever is instructed of them through the microphone, to ensure the anamatronics are under control and safe because of past experiences. However, the purple/pink guy or another killer perhaps broke into the control room or used the microphone for his own gain, instructing the anamatronics to do violent things. this would explain "don't hold it against us" as they had no control over their actions but are complex enough to have a conscious being and know of what they did.
I like this theory!! It makes sense!! I thought about the speaker too, but I just came to the conclusion that this is the way you can tell if they're coming (since you can't see anything out of the windows)!! :)
Remember that phone guy said that mangle was made before being mangled for the children so foxy wouldn't scare them and turn foxy into a girl like animatronic
At one point in the trailer there is a siren that can be heard, which often indicates danger, an accident or a drill of some sort. Going back to what Baby says in the FNAF World update ending, which is 'the show will begin momentarily', it does seem to hint at there maybe being an accident in the sister establishment these animatronics were located at. How often have we heard, when there is an incident at an entertainment event, to keep a group of people from panicking, the staff in charge will say something to a similar effect. 'Please stay in your seats, the show will continue/begin momentarily.' My theory is that we are not necessarily in the sister location, but the facility where these animatronics were built/tested, but through the transitioning mini games, we will learn of whatever incident happened at this establishment that resulted in the animatronics being brought down into this facility. Perhaps they are in need of maintenance after a supposed 'malfunction'.
I think something else to consider is that, with some entertainment establishments, displays and such can be raised and lowered through the floor. So it's quite possible that this facility that we're seeing is located directly beneath the Sister Location, and the dark room we see the animatronics in when the camera is showing them all on their pedestals could be where the reside in between shows, or after the establishment closes for the night, and they are raised up when needed. This would also explain the elevator. Having the building of maintenance directly beneath the establishment isn't so hard to believe, as it's been done with Disney, but the trailer describes it as 'deep underground', so I could be wrong.
i thought i was the only one who thought that, its very possible that its true and i hope that we are looking in the right direction in the sister location series.
Maybe this area is an old storage place for replacement parts, old animatronics, or even unused ones. These "Funtime" animatronics could be an experiment that the company tried to make more realistic animatronics that had moving faces like people, but later scrapped the idea because it was too scary for little kids. That's why they put these new (ish) animatronics down here, and you are a security guard told to keep this storage safe and stop any intruders from stealing things........
Something that bothers me is the animatronics faces all open up. Now from a horror point of view it's just to make them look scarier, but what function do they have as a child friendly animatronic (the original purpose after all). My first thought is that it's a spring lock suit but looking closer there doesn't seem to be enough room inside the suits especially the ballerina (the neck is too small for a person). It could be something as simple as access for maintenance but the facial parts clearly open and close while the suit is in normal mode. I mean this could be nothing at all but knowing how Scott works nothing is a coincidence.
I have two theories (I had posted these on other theory videos so if they sound familiar that's why.) 1. Okay, this may be completely unrelated, but I'm just throwing it out there. So remember the box from FNAF4 and how it said "Perhaps some things are left forgotten, for now." Yes, I know, Scott had said that the box represented us as a community. BUT, Scott is a tricky man. He said we weren't going to have FNAF 5 yet here we are! Anyways, the box could have maybe held Baby's memories or something like that. I mean, the trailer for Sister Location said "Deep below ground...Where memories sleep...Anger is restless...and secrets don't keep". Scott might have been keeping The Sister Location part of the series a secret, until now. I don't know. It's a little out there, but I thought I would point it out. Please tell me what you think about this. Thanks! 2. Guys I think I found something! As you know, Scott likes to have hidden messages in the pictures, forcing you to brighten the images, fix the contrast, increase shadows, etc. After brightening the image and adjusting the contrast I found some things reflected in Baby's face, hair, and fingers. On the nose, you can see Springtrap. On the top portion of her ponytail, you can see what looks to be a replica of her. On the lower portion of her hair, you can see, what I speculated to be, a yodeling girl (based on her hair being braided a certain way) and what also looks to be a falcon looking animitronic (It looks to be a red and black bird. It has fierce looking eyes and a beak that curves downwards.) And on the finger, which was a little hard for me to figure out, looks kind of like funtime foxy/mangle. On a side note, I had asked somebody in a previous theory video by 8-BitGaming what a sister location was. They said all they knew about it was that it was where all of the failed animitronics were sent. Taking that into consideration, I analyzed what I knew. Springtrap is an animitronic that stopped being used for obvious reason (*cough cough* Purple Guy *cough cough*). After Fazbear's Fright burned down, they might have found Springtrap and sent him to this sister location, supporting this theory. Anyways, the animitronics seem to be in some kind of meeting because of the fact that you can kind of see tables and that they are gathered around them. Baby looks to be directing/leading the meeting, telling everyone to take their seats. What this meeting is about, I don't know. But, knowing how the animitronics are, it can't be anything good. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU GUYS THINK OF THIS, I WOULD LOVE FEEDBACK! THANKS!

Fan Theory: maybe your not trying to protect yourself in this game and maybe your trying to protect something else like a power generator or something hense it being underground and the animatronics are trying to tare down an establishment hense dont hold it against us and you dont know what we have been through. This can also explain why Babys jumpscare isnt targeted at you because why would Scott go through all the trouble to make a whole new jumscare from a different perspective just ffor the trailer. You must also keep yourself protected by running away and hiding in the vents
Please put this into the next TT!!! I believe that the new establishment is an amusement park. Evidence: 1) The elevator room we see is transporting us (the player) down into the catacombs beneath the park. Places like Disney World have MILES of tunnels underneath it for staff to access via elevators. 2) The characters are all very colourful and technilogically advanced because of a higher budget. 3) All of the characters are based on popular kid icons: a clown (Baby), a ballorina
(Ballora), a pirate (Funtime Foxy), a puppet master (Funtime Freddy) and a magician (Ennard). 4) The red lights displayed on the small screen in the 2nd room are very spread out - potientially various sections of the theme park. Please theorise this! I love you guys so so so much!!! *Also, in FNAF 3, there is a drawing of JJ that bears a striking resemblance to the BB puppet seen in the trailer*
I think the reason the stage is so dark is that the animatronics are somehow active during the night when they are not supposed too, so the lights are not on.
At the end of the trailer, when you see Baby's face, you can see mechanisms working behind her eyes. My guess is that the faces are supposed to be exactly how they are, opening up and all. And you can see a lot of Funtime Foxy's endoskeleton a few seconds after Funtime Freddy is revealed by the light onstage. It looks kinda like the endoskeleton from the second game. But when it comes to actual animatronics, it seems like the ballerina is not designed to go anywhere on her own. I don't even know how she stays balanced on that pedestal. But we can't see Baby's feet, or Funtime Freddy's (although it's safe to assume that they are the same as the ones from the previous Freddy's). So we don't know if they can move about on their own either. From the looks of Funtime Foxy's feet, he/she/it can definitely move around if it wanted to. But maybe the animatronics don't move. We can see the footage of us crawling through the vent, so maybe it's a free roam. Maybe we have to walk around the place and the animatronics attack us from where we are, instead of coming all the way to the office. Maybe they attack us when we walk by the stage to fix something. I don't know. This whole thing has a *LOT* of maybes and ifs. Knowing Scott, we're all going be wrong and the characters are gonna end up doing back flips and somersaults over us to give us a heart attack. Well, maybe not *that* circus-y. But you get my point.
i've sorta seen the mechanisms workingg behind the eye's of babyy also i think ballora " ballerina animatronic" has a different endoskeleton i mean her eyes dont open and his mouth has endoskeleton different than the other animatronics and also, where is ennard?????!!!!!!
In the FNAF world new update, there's a guy in the house near by when you first spawn that says 'come here later, maybe I'll show you something' (Or something like that, I don't remember exactly). And when you beat the boss made for that update, you see the man saying something like 'What have I created, I've made a mistake' and then everything goes black (I think there were some noises indicating someone/something killed him) and a female robotic voice (much like baby's) Says 'please stay in your seats'. Taking the mechanic fixing these spring lock animatronics as you mentioned from the call in FNAF 3, could it be that this strange guy that got killed was the mechanic? I believe Scott Cawthon himself said that this man isn't a personification of himself. And not only that, you can the personification of Scott Cawthon as a party member! Sorry if the quotes and things aren't accurate, English isn't my first language, I've really really had a theory before and I'm just making an excuse to not search it up ^^;;

Maybe its at theme park but underground, disney style. Disney World has tunnels beneath it and maybe that's where we are. Maybe we're under like a legitimate fnaf world. Underneath Disney there are plenty of machines that make everything work properly and that would explain the factory feel. This isn't an establishment any, it's an attraction. It's bigger and has alot that needs to be controlled, hence the control panel. In reference to Scott's quote "Please stay in your seats" this makes me think of, again, theme park rides. In cliche form, the person controlling the ride will announce "Everyone please stay in your seats." Or "Keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times."
It's not quite the same as Disney's underground though - maybe a repair section but it's mainly tunnels for personnal to use to keep the park clean without janitors being seen and without characters being seen out of character.
*OKAY BUT LISTEN UP PEOPLE* Boy (from fnaf 4) has a sister, as we can tell by the very girly room, mangle/broken funtime foxy is in there but torn apart and mangle/broken funtime foxy also in SL (sister location) but only fixed up. In this boy's family, he also has a bro as we know, and he probably bullied the lil sister too. Animatronics in SL could be the lil sis's toys. Boy animatronics look like girls because his sister painted them like that. Sister location could be a dream again (dream theory) but this time in the sis's mind. Where was the sister in fnaf 4? That room had to be hers. If fnaf 'took place' in the boys room, sister location is in the sisters room. All games are connected to this one (really messed up) family. Maybe, I'm not too convinced with this myself: Red haired chick (fnaf 4) could be his sis even, she also had dolls, was at the party like a sister would be, i mean, the brother was there. Why was chica's beak missing? She was changing it too look like something else (more feminine) or purposely breaking it because she be cray cray. This was all just a thought tho, I'm most likely very wrong.
I agree. I have a theory too. You know how in fnaf world? And then Thiers the gas canisters. Fredbear(nice one) says the air is toxic. Will we wear something to breath oxygen or have a quest to find the suit or pieces? Any way I agree and this is my theory.

i have a theory. my theory is that at the end of the trailer, there was a weird "malfunction" that happened. i think this is forshadowing the event that caused all the animatronics to be fixed. let me explain. what i mean by fixed is in the trailer it says, "deep below ground." now, no one would want to go underground to see a show, right? and in fnaf 3, phone guy talks about how at the SISTER LOCATION the animatronics had to be worked on. i think thatthis is also why they are underground. this game can also not be set in the future because the calls phoneguy has talks about stuff that happened BEFORE the fnaf 3 game, which took place AFTER all the other games. well, anyways, the malfunction is also a part of why, in the trailer, baby whispers, "you dont know what we've been through. but, anyways, plz tell me what you thought of this theory!
My theory is this. Because this place is deep underground it has to be a storage building or testing lab. Or some kind of special place you need to pay good money to get into. If we go with the testing and storage idea then these animatronics likely never got used. Or failed a test to get used in one of the pizza places. Baby said "Don't hold it against us." and " You don't know what we've been through." This could be talking about these animatronics being angry about being locked away in darkness. If this underground place is for private shows the same kind of idea still works. That private show idea could also explain why these animatronics look so new and high end. Only a few rich people and people that pay good money ever get to see shows down here. But if the guy you play runs this secret place alone and he is the only one watching the shows then what Baby said would take on different context. Like they all want out. So it's him VS them. I don't think they are haunted. I think it's more like Hal 9000. They are all really advanced AI's. So i think they are programmed to preform. Hal 9000 shows how an AI can go to far while following it's programming. If these animatronics are acting on just their programming then saying "Don't hold it against us." is understandable. Hal 9000 started talking kind of like that. "You don't know what we've been through." could simple be them seeing any time not being able to preform for kids and people as a living hell. When an AI can't preform it's programmed task it could go crazy. If they were stored alone for years that would feel like hell.
What if the faces weren't supposed to open up. Maybe the faces where designed that way so that the employees could repair the endosceleton but the "locks" to lock the parts of the face in place didn't work or something
Abbey Johnson I will read it later. A lot of people have an idea kind of like this. It changes a bit from person to person. But the root idea is something along the lines of it being a testing or storage building. Not many people really touched on it being a private or hard to get into show. Right now it's all just theories. As more trailers come out we will likely get a better idea. I think at least one more trailer will be dropped. Most likely in a month or two.
I like how Ryan used dangerous, what if these animatronics were so strong.They can't be shut off. So strong they've become sentient somehow, and it's a Chicas Rainbow type of thing. The cuter it is the more deadly.
I think the pigtails are supposed to represent youth hence the name baby. I think Scott's intention was to make baby look like a young girl and pigtails are an iconic hairstyle for them though your theory sounds interesting.
I always thought that the kids in the Fnaf 4 mini game represents the fan base. The red head girl represented the theory fans, the green shirt kid represented the gameplay fans, and the kid inside with the Spring Bonnie plush toy was the art fans.
mabe the animatronics are reused parts of the old animatronics which would explain the pain they have bean throu because they are the old ones just mixed with others like mabe the foxy character is foxy and mangle taken apart and put back together as one animatronic.
If u look clearly at the 2 ballon boy little animatronics their eyes look like follow you... also Ballora never opens her eyes. and the meesage "you dont know what we've been through" means that Baby was an unused animatronic and all the funtime animatronics and now theyre trying to revenge scott thats why baby killed him. also why he said that its late to deavticate her in fnaf world update 2 ending. "too late to deactivate her" probably she was activated the whole story in the time we was playing the first game baby existed and they must be keep in the underground and you have to leave the underground to exit the building where the animatronics are.
This theory is kinda nuts,but i think this is the factory where all the fazbear animatronics are designed,tested,& buit! Also,i think the owner of fazbear entertainment co. was eccentric,i mean build a factory UNDERGROUND?!? This begs the question, was this owner the killer? Also,the safe room,in my opinion, is an elevator,suggesting that the first freddy fazbears pizza was buit on top of the factory,which actually makes sense since they can put out new animatronics for test runs and study consumer reception and also keep the general public from seeing the experimental animatronics,and i bet some "incidents" occured,and when the authorities found out,they when to investigate,in fnaf 2 phone guy even says some authorities searched the place! Also, an underground facility with its only entrance hidden in a secret off limits room would be the perfect place to hide things. Also,wouldnt the person who creted and built the animatronics in the first place be an obvious choice to be the owner of the company,and wouldnt an icident where bullies put his son in frebears mouth,thus killing him,drive him to insanity,revenge,and then maybe a senless uncrontrollable killing spree after this man completely looses his mind from fear of being aressted and sentenced to death?
Cool theory tell me what you think about mine. I think fnafsl (five nights at freddys sister location) could be a TV show and the animatronics being recorded and filmed , then put on TV. That could explain why its underground and kept in pristine condition, not only that but all those advanced controls would be for what they say, lighting ect. That also explains the lack of decorating and maybe it would be filmed in front of a live audience
Why is everyone ignoring the clip of the (protagonist?) crawling through the vent! This could easily confirm the game either 1) Being free roam. 2) Having cutscenes. 3) Having the mechanic of having a wide space to move around in like in Those Nights at Rachels. Another possibilty is that it is forshadowing a ventilation system the animatronics can use to attack you, and that scene is from the animatronics eyes. I just found it weird that nobody talks about that actually important scene that could mean a lot.
I think I figured out what Baby was whispering, it was along the lines of "Don't do this against us." And because she was repeating it the more she repeated the more panicky she was feeling, you could tell by her voice, And I'm thinking that we have something that we shouldn't have and it can harm them extremely bad. Another thing and approve of that theory is that Baby also whispers "You don't know what we've been through." which could mean that the thing we might have has been used on them plenty of times before and that they are now trying to fight back. But that's just my theory.
My theory could also tie in with the one in the video. 'Cause maybe the animatronics screwed up and they used the "device" to punish them for the "incident" and so they are being kept away until they learn and now you have the responsibility for the device and it can help you defend your self with it. And it might tie in with Scott saying "I'm using brand new new mechanics so the "Device can be a big part of the story if its true.
Do you think that it could be related to the bite? I suspect it might be the ballerina. And Baby as the leader with Freddy in the back. I din't think its Freddy or Foxy since they carry over. Plus Baby is saying 'Don't hold it against us' If she did something wouldn't she be saying 'Don't hold it against me/them'?
Yes, i kinda agree. You'd say they're all mean and such like in the last games, but I too think we did something TO THEM instead. It's like we've done something to them and now theyre angry. I feel like they've been tortured in the facility or something. ." don't hold it against us, you don't know what we've been through" as if theyre trying to say to not compare them to the other animatronics. as if they've done harm to them. There's also a video that if you play it backwards baby says something along the lines of, ; suicide didnt work.. right? I mean it's not clear if that's really what she says but maybe it is. It's kinda as if they wanted to escape the facilty but the facility is really heavy guarded, like what you see in the elevator, numberpads switches and buttons, as if they dont want them to escape. Don't know if this makes sense as a story but idk it would be a cool twist xD

So here's my theory, what if you play as purple guy for this game, The reason for that would be if springtrap is in this game he has to be fixed up so purple guy isn't dead yet, And baby's speech is to purple guy letting him know what pain he put them through, this leads to were we play as, this location is either a place related to fnaf 3, it became the horror attraction and then burned down leaving it to look horrible, and/or it's the underground part of fnaf three, also I think that in fnaf 4 when you guy's discussed the girl getting mudered, my freinds and I discussed the same and said maybe that's why the kid was scared and that's why fredbear said "you know what you saw" this could be the murder of the girl and the game is called five nights at freddy's is because the girl aka baby was put into fnaf 1, freddy and, this explains freddys laugh to sound like a girls it's hers, this was my theory
Here is my theory in the location/anamatronics: Ok, so to support this theory, the setting will have to be in a little in the future, underground where say a collector is refurbishing and collecting anamatronics. And he or she hires a night-guard to keep them inside the base. But now back to the theory, so I think that each of the four main anamatronics you saw in the trailer have the bodies of each of the night-guard and the child from the previous four FNAF games. The reason why I believe this is because at the end of the trailer Baby says "You don't know what we've been through." This could point to the night-guards and the child living through the nightmarish nights with the old anamatronics. Also, like I think you said in a previous video, these anamatronics want to do to you what happened to them, so they might want to kill/stuff you in a suit.
This might be a stretch but I think that the game is part of a dream, just like MatPat said a dream. The boy in FNAF 4 I believe has a sister since their is a room with a flower carpet. The animatronics in FNAF SL are the sisters toys, that's why they are very girly and called the game is called Sister Location. I also believe Funtime Foxy is Mangle because they look very similar, Mangle doesn't have a speaker however because the boy older brother broke Mangle and took the speaker. The older brother likes to destroy the toys, such as ripping off plush foxy. I think he broke of the speaker because when he scares the boy in the living room, he makes a growl sound and used the speaker to make that sound. Even if it isn't a dream, Funtime Foxy and Mangle are the same, it's just the speaker was ripped out when Mangle was destroyed.
i think your an inscpector of the place that is newly being built and thats why in the trailer they play their performance and something goes wrong and instead of doing there show they start saying what they want to and start attacking the inspector and you need to escape
theory: mabye in the"office" you can see a tracking device on the desk. it might be used to see the animatronics coming for you. also mabye you can see where the animatronics are and they have a camera in there eyes. then you would have to track the ballerina a different way. maybe you hear music when she is near
Yeah, I thought that the thing in the vent was going much faster than a human would be able to because even if someone somehow got any bit of traction in one of those vents it would still be hard to go through.
Having listened to you guys' theories and having read a couple of comments on the FNAF reddit, some things came to mind. We can all agree that Funtime Foxy bears a striking resemblance to Mangle. They also share another trait that is not instantly apparent and that is the ability to produce sound. Mangle's job in the FNAF series is to play a high pitched static noise that disrupts various systems the player needs to survive and we see that Funtime Foxy has a speaker built-in to the torso area. This may hint that Funtime Foxy and Mangle may be the same model of animatronic OR Funtime Foxy could be an upgrade on the model that Mangle was. Also the name "Sister Location" and the layout we see in the teaser don't seem to match. When I heard "Sister Location" I pictured another family friendly themed pizzeria, with other animatronics but waht we're shown is, as it was put so well in the video, something out of a sci-fi movie, reminiscent of an underground testing facility of some sort. I believe that the game takes place in an underground storage facility which you, the player, has to escape from. The dialogue we hear in the teaser (which is thought to be baby) says "Don't hold it against us" and "You don't know what we've been through". This actually makes me think that the player is trapped by these animatronics in this facility and you have to escape. This is supported, in my opinion, by the way we see the camera pans in the scenes were it seems to be player controlled (The scene where the elevator goes down, the shot of the office or control room and the part where the player seems to be crawling through a vent). In these 3 scenes the camera seems to pan around almost in a panic with no idea what to do. Also we see lights flickering and struggling to stay on, this could signify that this place hasn't been accessed in a very long time, which is further supported by the text in the trailer of "Deep below ground, Where Memories Sleep, Anger is Restless". Maybe these haunted animatronics have become lonely and angry at their abandonment and trap someone inside in order to "play" or maybe even, escape.
I agree with the theory that the animatronics are saying things such as "don't hold it against us" and "you don't know what we've been through" because they're trying to make us forgive them for injuring/killing your character as they try to escape. I also agree with the theory that these characters have to do with a circus. These two tie together because of the new character names that have been leaked. Ballona, Baby, Ennard, Bidybab, Funtime Freddy, Minireena, and Funtime Foxy. We have seen 4 of these characters in the trailer(possibly 5 if the bonnie puppet on Freddy's arm is Minireena), Funtime Freddy, Ballona, Baby, and Funtime Foxy. However, Ennard and Bidybab are unexplained. Considering these animatronics could be in some sort of a circus setting there is most likely going to be some sort of ring-master character. We have yet to see this ring-master, so this animatronic could be responsible for torturing the souls that are posessing the animatronics. They may be saying "don't hold it against us" because this set of animatronics could be responsible for some injury/killing and they might be saying they weren't the ones responsible, and it was this ring master character. I don't know, this was just a theory I had, hope you enjoy!
+Young Knight I agree- if you've watched house in haunted hill (a famous horror film) there's an elevator doing the same thing. It's horror so Scott could've taken inspiration.
Maybe it's the crying kid from Fnaf 4 who built this when he grew up from being SUPER psycho after his dreams and incident. A few years of recovering, he had an idea to make this place far away, but did he know from being such a psychopath and giving these things movements, they turned into live-killing machines. All I'm trying to say is, my theory is that the crying child of Fnaf 4 grew up to make these things and open his own resturant.
I did an in depth analysis of this trailer, as well and here is what i came up with. This is all speculation. First is the setting. In the first scene that we get of the setting, we are going down in what seems to be an elevator. In the second scene, we are in some sort of control room. In the last shot you are seen to be climbing through a vent. I am speculating that we are in some sort of Factory, where animatronics are being made and tested. What the text on screen means (speculation): Fear: Representing FNAF 1- Fear of being killed by the animatronics/The purple guy (pink guy) Panic: Fnaf 2- Panic of hiding evidence quickly Dread: Fnaf 3- Dread of killing children, then being killed by them. Terror: Fnaf 4- Crying childs fear of the animatronics, mainly Fredbear (Incident of '83) "Deep below ground"-Underground factory? "Where memories sleep"- Witnessed some sort of event long ago. "Anger is restless"- Something happen? Violent because of it? "And secrets dont keep"- telling people about incident and then killing them? The quotes that are said (Baby? No one knows): "Dont hold it against us"- Caused an incident? "You don't know what we've been through..."- Been through a tragic event? Animatronics (in order): Funtime Foxy: Mangle like design, Speaker on chest, obvious differences to mangle Ballora?:Humanoid ballerina, Eyes always closed, has a special thing with her eyes. Okay I agree with the circus part I think it's almost spot on but my theory is in the Fnaf World update 2 ending the guy in the house says this "But my mind isn't right. I've made something terrible. Her name is Baby. It's to late to deactivate her. I'm sorry." then the lights go out and a pair of glowing eyes appear (Baby) and she says "The show will begin momentarily, everyone please stay in you're seats." the eyes disappear and the lights turn on to reveal the guy dead. Now I think he either killed himself out of guilt for what he's made or was killed by baby. But onto the sister location I think that after she killed him or some other tragic event the company sends the robots deep underground in some sort of storage facility (or it might even be a manufacturing facility) to prevent anything else from happening and you play as a guard in here but the machines mysteriously wake back up because of the souls and that's where the game begins.
A long time ago before Five Nights at Freddy's was even a thing EVER, I had this dream, well in the beginning it felt like a dream, but when I saw I was going down and it was the same place when you were going down to the place where Baby and all the others, and it felt, it felt, like a nightmare seconds later, and I couldn't control it, I couldn't wake up, I was in the new office minutes later. Then... I found camera esc things, I used it, I heard a voice, it was Baby, then I blacked out. Hours later in the nightmare, Baby jumpscared me, blood everywhere, I was so scared. It was the worst nightmare in my life, then came the same dream Scott Cawthon had of these animatronics. This is just so weird. I... Was... In... Five Nights at Freddy's... Sister Location. Explain to me why this happened, or at least try to explain this to me, why I saw Baby, why I had that dream... Why... why did I have this dream before FNaF was ever a thing? I have a theory about the jump scares. Their faces move right? Like those panels on their faces. Maybe something is hidden underneath the endoskeleton and when they get you their faces open to reveal some kind of weapon that may or mat not be already invented. And they could be characterized by the way the anamotronics were in past games. Ex) Foxy's old jumpscare was running so you had very little time to react. So why not the same kind of thing with the other Foxy/Mangle. And since those two look kinda combined into one maybe she/he swoops down from the ceiling after running ahead of you. Like maybe you're going down a hallway(if we even move around in this game) and you hear running, then you know to turn around because Foxy/Mangle is down the hall and will swoop down once you get too close? It could be unique to eah character like how Chica's beak opened very wide in the original game so maybe those panel things move to reveal a row of sharp teeth underneath her face. And Bonnie's face opens to reveal a hook like thing that stabs you? Freddy could do something like shake your screen because of how he shook during his attack original game. They could all say something as they attacked too, like clues to the game's mechanics or storyline. Like "I was only doing what I had to". And its different for each character.

my personal theory: when we see the individual close-ups of the characters and their faces pulling apart, with the text in between, they all appear to be glancing in the same direction, maybe looking at something. Baby is centre stage, so maybe they're looking at her. all their faces move in the same pull-apart way - maybe this even shows an emotion? for Baby's close-up, though, we see her fist tightening, which is often seen as a threatening or violent action. maybe the other animatronics are looking at her, worried about what she will do. even on the show stage, whilst everyone is dancing, Baby stays perfectly still until the light shines on her and she cocks her head sideways and knowingly raises an eyebrow. the only time we actually see Baby properly move is on her own at the end, in a very violent and sinister way. I think she's different to the others - I think she has her own motives. just a theory.
MY THEORY: (JUST MY THOUGHT) what if the new location is a new nightmare, from one of the teens in fnaf 4 the teen girl to be specific, helped throw the boy( a.k.a the victim of the 'bite of 87) into fredbears mouth and the fear of being caught is haunting her! it's only a theory but it would explain a lot about baby saying 'don't hold it against us'.
You have a great point! And going back to FNAF 2 would it be possible that these new animatronics could be the replacements to the "TOY" animatronics and this is based on that? I'm not sure though. And when the faces move it is almost like a cage to the animatronics in a way. What if the kids you see in FNAF 4 are being made to keep what really happened and "you don't know what they've been though" I know this is an out there idea but what if this is the bite of 87 victom's sister and they are all remainded in their sets. She could be going insane in the process. Still this is just an idea
I haven't thought out every possible thing yet, but this is what I have right now: That Purple Guy didn't only murder 5 children, but more. This would have to be past Fredbears Family Diner because Bonnie was invented and Purple Guy couldn't keep killing kids because the kids were probably killed in that establishment since it started there. So, when the company started a new era of animatronics (the toys, since the animatronics in sister location seem to be in that time) Purple Man decided to go at it again, and in the Fnaf 2 night 5 (maybe 5 :/) Phone guy says the place is shut down because of an investigation (most likely). The souls decided to take these new ones being made in a factory, but since the animatronics were now possessed by the souls, they got dangerous and got locked in the factory. The factory the were made in probably was shut down or something. So, the company decided to have a highly trained guard to watch and manage them. That is all I have put together so far.

This theory is kinda silly but... I like thinking outside the box. I think the location is or at least was a public location at some point. First of all, Baby, or at least we think it's her saying this, says, "Everyone please stay in your seats." Everyone is used to address multiple people, so multiple people makes me think it is or was public. The underground bit of it, the elevator, is most likely an "employees only" thing. I think the area where the panel with all the complicated buttons and such is the underground part. I believe it's where they operate the special effects and lights for the stage where the animatronics are. I'd say the window is for the special effects person to look at the stage, or is a screen that shows the stage through a camera like classic FNAF. Also, this part is just something I wanted to throw out, notice how the ballerina and Baby both have little pins or something hanging of their skirts and dresses. I don't know if Funtime Foxy and Freddy have the same thing or not. They may not have any significance but I just noticed that. I also agree with Ryan about the "all characters female" theory. I don't think that because of the title "Sister Location". It's just the appearance of them. The ballerina, (don't remember her name) is clearly a female. Baby, is also a female, you can just tell by looks. Freddy, maybe a male but the color suggests otherwise (I don't know for sure) and Foxy... First of all I like the circus theory and such but, lipstick, fingernail polish, and girly colors suggest a female. Mangle, who was confirmed a girl, wore a bowtie, so that is one of the reasons. Secondly, the eyelashes, they aren't as big as Baby's and the ballerina's, but there are more things that point to female rather than male. I believe the setting of this new game will be taking place in a storage-type facility. My theory is that these animatronics were initially built to become a new version of Fazbear's Restaurant or Entertainment Place, but business ordeals went wrong. Think about someone who is in charge of a certain area of land, and the CEOs and other high level business people of Fazbear Entertainment make a contract with this land owner to build an establishment on that land. Maybe the workers built the animatronics and they were ready to go, but the landowner cancelled the contract midway and they never built an establishment for these animatronics. That's why they look so brand new, and that's why there are no decorations -because they're in a storage facility. And the workers who built the animatronics probably got mad because they put all this hard work into building these robots for nothing, and they had to install something in the animatronics to make them shut down, but the animatronics went rogue and are now pissed off and want to kill everyone. I don't know everything, but that's my theory :3
My own theory would be that the animatronics are the last remaining machines from the most recent restaurant (not shown in a game), which has had its own mishaps and deaths. The government took this as an opportunity to look into the accidents of the Fazbear company and brought these animatronics to an underground facility for examination and holding. Your character is meant to record the happenings in that facility until something (probably power or something else important) goes extremely wrong, letting the animatronics loose. This would explain why the animatronics are held in performance-like positions and why Baby is saying the things she is, because the mishaps at the restaraunt could have been some sort of mechanical mistake, trapping the killed children's souls inside.
Just wanted to say I'm a huge fan of you guys and I hope you keep on doing whatcha doing. Wanted to comment sooner but can't do that from a 2DS unfortunately. I have a complicated/not so complicated theory. First each animatronic comes/came from a different sister location. So they can be a mix of male and female animatronics. each experienced something horrible causing a terrible malfunction, which then caused them to be recalled and put into the underground facility. As for they're coloring and appearance, the colors suggest kid friendly/circus theme. Most kids love the circus after all. Also as for the faces opening and the jointing, if they were all released/made at the same time, they'd be all from the same generation. Lastly as for Baby being the main animatronic and not Freddy, I Think she was the last one made in this gen. before release. then had the worst experience. this explains why she's so different from the rest. Also as for the look alike girl with the toys, (this is a little far fectched) maybe something happened to her, and out of guilt the maker of the animatronics, for the company, made one that looked like her.This is just a theory so no hating on me for this.
I think that the trailer is on the second part of the game as I believe it is in two or three parts, you are the first night guard of the sister location, you report some weird stuff on day one, they dont believe you so you record night two, you then go to a facility where the paranormal activity around the fnaf restaurant chain, the animatronics escape the observation room and you must survive.

Yeah the circus thing make sense,and the theory I think about is totally correct with it.When baby is looking to you before the end of the trailer (before the text "sister location" appears),you can clearly hear an alarm.And what alarm?The alarm that is switched on in case of a... fire :).In fnaf 3,the phone guy talks about an incident in the sister location.A "spring lock failure".But are you sure it was the only thing that happened?In the circus,sometime,there are shows with lions/tigers,jumping in a fire circle.What I think is that someone was in a lion spring suit,he jumped in the circle,and the suit began to burn.Remember,when fnaf 3 was annouced,a lot of peoples thought that the teaser image was a lion.And what if it was actually one!If we consider the sister location and fazbear fright happens in the same year/decade,it could make sense no?

Funtime foxy is staring at the puppet. Funtime foxy reflection on ballora's neck. Reflection of a chicken on baby's hand/microphone. And Funtime freddles on Funtime Freddy's hand.
You know I think Sister Location might be the sister in FNAF4 dreaming in her room(Showing in Fnaf4) after her brother dieing. I say this because all of the animatronics seem female.and she's seeing Balora as her favorite thing trying to kill her. And Baby being herself trying to kill her. Also when it says "Don't hold it against us" and "You don't know what we been through" to show the dread of her brother dieing. Also when it says "deep below ground" shows her brother being buried. And when it says "Where anger is restless" shows her wanting revenge for her brother..Also Scott added that sister room in FNAF4 for a reason.Also when it said "Where memories sleep" and "Where secrets don't keep" it shows her feelings about memories and what she does with them and how she wants to unlock the chest that her brother never could. He never does anything with no reason, we all learned that by now. SO when Scott says sister location I think he means sister bedroom. Finally I think her name is Baby because the sister is the brother's little sister. Also this theory could be wrong or the other way around.
The reason why the whisper quote in the end of the trailer ''you don't know what we've been through'', it is purposely a factory that makes animatronics for establishments that requires mechanical help. the reason too why they're make look like a circus because they being prepared for deliver to the fun time establishment. regarding the characters, baby is the pixelated girl in fnaf 4 but the the purposely the game to the pixelated girl that her life story. i don't know if this is right but i hope that this will be added or hopefully guessed it XD
"Everyone, please stay in your seats."My theory is that this is an underground amusement park ride. These are all performers while people stay in the coaster cars and watch them from the side, like splash mountain in Disneyland. There's some type of malfunction and everyone could have been trapped in the coaster, the elevator being what the maintenance worker takes to get down there. The control room? Controls the lighting and the ride and what happens. As for the characters Bidybab and Ennard, I believe they MAY be those puppets we saw in the control room. And the Minireena? Maybe we finally have a name for the Marionette. I could be way off on this, but I mean, it fits.
This is my theory: This game takes place in some type testing lab in which they brought the "Haunted" animatronics to figure out what the hell is going on with them. You play as a testing person who works in the control room and the windows are looking over the stage where the animatronics are resting. They "go rouge" and break out of the controlled room threatening the "scientists" so scott tells them to "stay in their seats" even while the animatironics are now rouge. You crawl in the vents because you are trying to escape from the animatronics. Also, In this boy's family, he also has a bro as we know, and he probably bullied the lil sister too. Animatronics in SL could be the lil sis's toys. Boy animatronics look like girls because his sister painted them like that. Sister location could be a dream again (dream theory) but this time in the sis's mind. Where was the sister in fnaf 4? That room had to be hers. If fnaf 'took place' in the boys room, sister location is in the sisters room. All games are connected to this one (really messed up) family.
This is my theory. this could be a children's ride being builded. The animatronics moves from the different rooms when the cars moves and at the ending the main animatronics are all in the same room singing a song. Also the please stay in your seats could be the voice that tells you to remain seated? So yeah that is it. The player could be the one that controls the ride also?
The quote "Secrets don't keep" it could be that they heard from the maintenance system failures have happened and what happened, and the animatronics might tell you the story or they tell the other people that watch, and complaints might come in and they need to be fixed so they don't tell the failures.
I think you could be right about them moving from one suit to the next because if you pay close enough attention to how they animatronics move when you get the closeups, it looks like how they might move if they just got new bodies. I also think that maybe purple guy is the crying child's dad, and that because the children killed his son, he killed them in the spring lock suit, unknowing they would haunt him in other animatronics. Another restaurant may have been made between the time of FNAF 4 and 2, and they were in the exoskeletons of the withered animatronics. After FNAF 2, the exoskeletons from the withered animatronics are completely remade, using the exoskeletons from the withered animatronics from FNAF 2, and the purple guy (owning the establishments the entire time) had enough of the children's spirits in the animatronics, so he dismantled them. Then they confronted him and he died in the Springtrap suit. After that, they looked for a way to the afterlife and stumbled into the animatronics in Sister location and accidentally (or purposefully, for some reason) whent into the suits, and that would be the FNAF timeline.
WOW! A CIRCUS!? Who would've thought? I never saw that coming. That would be really interesting to see with a whole tent vibe environment going on with all this craze. Or.....maybe there wouldn't even BE a tent. I doubt there would be one underground, but I could see where you're going with this. The main thing that has me very hyped about this game is that you can actually travel through ventilation this time which looks absolutely AMAZING! Plus, I believe the game is also free roam too, so I'm real excited for that as well. I wonder how it would all work though. I'm pretty sure Scott has all that figured out. HELL, for all WE know he was planning this game ever since FNAF 2. Think about it. As you play FNAF 2 and you're on like night 2 or 3, the game mentions a certain location that was left to rot for a while. A SISTER location! This could very well be that location, but, then again, that doesn't explain the fact that these new models look brand new and unique with new functions. This tells me that whatever was left to rot had some high tech equipment and technology. Either that or this game is actually going to take place in the future because of the chrome look on all of the characters. This game is even going to have VOICE ACTING! I mean could you imagine being in that tiny space and actually hearing those things talk to you or talk about you while you're looking through the cameras, traveling through vents, or even exploring the "facility"? Even hearing screams and shriek noises? Laughter even? The HELL with that! LOL. The lights would probably flicker on and off too as this goes on. I can already picture it now. YUP................NIGHTMARES GUARANTEED! I'm really intrigued to see how far Scott is actually planning to go with his and I'm pretty sure he has a lot more tricks up his sleeve to make this his BEST GAME YET! To be honest, this is just the beginning for him I would imagine. He has only scratched the surface of this game. I'm pretty there are a lot more goodies to come in the near future. So far, it is definitely succeeding in that field and I just hope he does something VERY special with this game because it looks FABULOUS so far to say the least. I'm totally ready for it and I look forward to whatever Scott plans to do in the future. Whatever it may be.
If we go back to what dawko said about the "security guard" or the person working there is trying to escape, this could explain why you can see a perspective of someone trying to climb through the vents, trying to escape from something like the animatronics. This would also explain why the lights are flashing in the "control room" and the elevator scenes in the trailer.
ohh...now that i think about it..and think when Baby said "you don't know what we've been through could be saying something happened in the past.maybe there was a circus show and during the circus show something happened.and obviously when something bad happens in a cinema ,shopping mall,circus etc,the manager or the security guard will say "please stay in your seats,stay calm" and this "place" is most probably underground because the start of the trailer the poem thing said "deep below ground" so i'm also guessing the room with the mokey puppet could be a security guard show room where they could be cameras in the circus hall so that the security guard could see and keep an eye on the audience so nothing bad happens and also the part in the trailer where the camera panes into a vent,it could be something like the "outlast" game .where mybe everyone else left the circus amd the security guard whichyou're playing) is trying to get out of the circus alive and is recording at the sametime
I was just watching a game theory video and I realised why the suits are new and shiny. This is because in fnaf 3 the old messages that are uncovered state that at the sister location there were several springlock suit failures. This presumably means the spring locks were scrapped, making them need to have new animatronics, meaning they were made of newer material.
Where memories sleep... Anger is restless... These two lines show that it was once used by people or at least visited by someone who then abandoned the building, because it says that memories sleep - but this can't be the animatronics who have the memories because they're evidently in working order and have working memories. The fact that they have working memories is shown when Baby says at the end "You don't know what we've been through". The next line (Anger is restless) is saying that the animatronics have probably been left on and can remember what happened to them and possibly want to take their anger out on someone or something - most likely to be the night-guard or whoever you'll play as. Please tell me if this makes sense kuz this came from my head and I am crap at explaining things xP
I believe the reason for the title of "Sister Location" is because it is a sister location. Sister meaning created by the same person or people, and often amusement attractions, such as Chuck E Cheese's (not specifically, but as an example of what I mean), will have a 'sister location' which is either the same company ran by different managers OR a different franchise, but owned by the same people. As for the characters, I can't exactly determine anything, but I do feel like the idea of it being set up like a circus (or something similar) is very likely. A dancer, a puppet show, a ring master, and so on, combined with the animatronics being set up on pedestals gives a very performance feel, although not necessarily a circus in specifics.
I think that there could be an underground attraction in a sort of bomb shelter type place, like the one described in the Disney rumor about Club Zero (I think it's that). Maybe there was a war or some other freak accident that caused the franchise to build downwards with this establishment, and that's why Baby tells everyone to stay seated. Another theory is that this game is located in the middle of some sort of event, like for Halloween, and the animatronics are unstable and aggressive at night, causing them to be locked underground. My last theory is that this is actually some sort of theme park, and that the animatronics are on rotating platforms like the ones at Disneyland. This is due to the circular platforms that everyon is on, and could explain why it gives off more of a theatre mood. Maybe it is a theater inside of a park, and something bad has happened backstage.
here is what I think happened. Maybe this place takes underground during war, because why would the elevator look bad and not nice, if it was like a pizza place it would look nicer because u want ur costumers to feel welcomed and happy. Also it could take place after the bite where the kid wakes up In the hospital room ( not a hospital but in a small medical room ). So the kid could have lived in the sisters location and have nightmares every night of fnaf's and he got hurt from one of the animatronics ( but that could be wrong with that one there isn't enough evidence for that one ). Also maybe after the bite from game 4 of fnaf the kid is in a secret where purple guy is keep him hostage. Also the image that Scott put up of the new animatronic where it said there's a little bit of me in every body it could mean what the trailer was talking about, fear, panic, dreaded, this could mean every of the animatronics have some fear, panic, and are dreaded. My sis thinks this could take place in a war vault or just a vault. PLZ READ THIS!!!
Okay theory here, what if it is a location underground (seeing as we can assume that with the title "Sister Location" it has a very high chance of being in reference to a parallel location for Fazzbear's Pizzeria Just as the Titanic had it's sister ship also meaning that this game is parallel to the events of the first game). The explanation for the weird elevator is a staff entrance, that way you don't have to have the player do anything with the show floor off the bat making the exploration aspect more interesting as well as establishing that the player works at the location. It can also be noted that this location is recent and operating due to the shininess of the vinyl and metal the animatronics have (Scott has a habit of making the old stuff look atlas dusty) and I believe that we are thrown into the heat of panic seeing as the lights on the board are flashing. I can also say that I strongly believe that the role of the player will be a show technician rather than security (so the puppet master basically) because of the fact that the board in front of the big windows does look like a hybrid of a lighting and sound board (it also does look like a few of the wires running on the other side of the windows could be similar to a kind of cable called the "snake" that carries the digital relays for sound and lights from the boards to the stage). I without a doubt however know that this is a performance type establishment because while we can't see any balloons in the video they are on the graphic for Scott's website. I can also say that I think that the spirits possessing the animatronics could be the spirits of (surprise surprise) more dead kids because even though we saw the demise of purple guy we never saw the entirety of his reign and if the event's of sister location are hypothetically parallel to that of FNAF 1 then theres a chance he could have hit this place sooner, thusly justifying the bubbling anger the spirits trapped in the animatronics could have. Oh also, I think that if we take into account the theory that FNAF 2 happened after FNAF 1, Mangle would most likely be the nice Foxy model we see here and that the events we play through in this game lead to the shut down of this location (Also meaning that it could be presumed Mangle was dismantled before being shipped off to the FNAF 2 location while Baby, Freddy, and Balloria could have been either "liberated/deactivated" or left to rot in this location we see here meaning that we might get a FNAF 6, or maybe even the looming feeling that as the person who literally runs the show we played a part in burying the events).
we missed something in fnaf 3 . the recorded phone guy says that they're are problems with the spring suits at the sister location so when whoever was talking and said 'u don't know what we've been through' that might have been the testers for the suits who died in them just like purple guy. that also might be why in the trailer it look like a facility and not a restaurant they build and test the spring lock suits by putting them on and they went off. so in all the suits in the sister location are the victims who ended up like purple guy.
Yeah I like the idea that the new character's spirits were the spring suit testers, definitely would explain their pain and the phone Guy's call thing. But I think there might have been something else that happens to them too, being killed in a suit doesn't fill up to "you don't know what we've been through". I think there's more that they've done.
another theory. the animatronics were rejected in the line don't hold a grudge. they want to do shows so they can be free but they can not. they blame the security guard and try to get back at him. the stay in your seats line is because they know they are dangerous but they want them to watch all the way through the act to prove they are good animatronics. the line you do not know what we have been throught might talk about the muder or the rejection of being an official animatronic.
I have a theory: I think that the idea of underground is very likely because of the elevator and the pipe lining inside. I also think that maybe the three "windows" in the office might actually be monitors that you can look at by turning the mouse, a free look room maybe? And that when you lose power the monitors turn off or something. Also the two new animatronics in your office could not be actual animatronics? They could be decoration, like bobble heads. I think they could be just like the paper plates from fnaf 2. They could also just be animatronics that take the place of balloon boy, accept they have different mechanics? Maybe one helps you and the other foils your plans. Anywho, the four main animatronics: first i have to say that dont you guys think its weird that only baby and funtime freddy have microphones? You can clearly see that funtime foxy is also saying something but has no mic... Instead she is doing hand gestures. This might be because each one has a specific role, freddy is the comedian, foxy is the singer(?... Well its very unclear as what her role is, since she is empty handed.) and baby is the host or main attraction? I've been getting a lot of vibes that baby is a show host or a circus or magic performer, the quote in the picture on scotts website and at the end of fnaf world "stay in your seats" it sounds like she's an email excitable show host or magic performer, i dont know. About the place they are in. They are clearly underground but why would circus performers or magic performers be in a place like that? I have a theory. Maybe, ya know how in the elevator scene where the protagonist looks like he's in a panic as the elevator shoots down violently and rumbles? (depending on the camera shaking) well i think you have stumbled across a secret passage or hatched, something, that led you to an old elevator. I dont know if its in future or past, maybe present, that's what i think at least. Maybe the elevator shoots down while your inside, breaks at the bottom. Now your stuck in an unknown underground facility, you have to explore and roam the halls and rooms/vents to find and turn on power switches? Find generator rooms, i suspect that its a place that was abandoned, the last people alive down there died and had their souls put into animatronics, maybe the animatronics were built by them, or someone else, a cereal killer psycho? Maybe something new and supernatural is rising. The lights that shine on the animatronics are purple and pink, meaning that they are in a spotlight, MEANING that they have a purpose in the place they are in, i don't think its a factory. A bomb shelter someone used to create illegal animatronics? Maybe they were legal, a man who was trying to impress business men and sell his creations, show them he had talent, or maybe he was trying to start his own company? Future or not, the animatronics could be metal or plastic, just more shiny. They are clearly advanced though. And..... Who knows? You could be an animatronic yourself. A dream of mixed thoughts at the factory you work at? Futuristic underground club or circus? Maybe your exploring a forgotten place for fun and soon regret your decision? Anyways this could be some kind of saw shit your thrown into and its like a tv show for people to watch? Or the broken elevator theory where you have to turn the power on in all the generator rooms to escape?.. This could also be on a spaceship... A futuristic one? I really don't know but the ideas are endless.... Those are my ideas
I think the 'control room' might suggest a plausible explanation along with the tag line "deep underground".This could be the place where the animatronics are made. "There's a little bit of me in all of them" is another clue. Take the idea of paranormal possession with the disassembled robot. Basic parts could be interchangeable if the endoskeletons base frame is the same. Spare parts used to Spread possession instead of simple repair or maintenance. Like prepping a Robot to Contain a child's spirit, like a horcrux.Test facility maybe. Research facility into 'ghost in the machine' pseudo science testing.
My personal theory works solely on the text Scott gives us. For FNAF 1 we have "Fear"; FNAF 2, "Panic"; 3 is "Dread"; and 4 is "Terror." Perhaps the words and the games they seemed to be associated to have some hidden meaning we can work to find. Also, the actual text Scott gives (I sincerely hope I'm not the only person to notice this) RHYMES. So perhaps it's a riddle? "Deep below ground, Where memories sleep, Anger is restless, And secrets don't keep." Perhaps, and again this is only what I think, these animatronics are being stored underground in some sort of facility after being taken away from the real sister location because of the events at Freddy's original establishment. The franchise decided to store these very new and modern characters underground, but they feel betrayed, as if they're being forced to accept the punishment for actions they didn't do, and they want to return and keep preforming to follow protocol and programming. "Don't hold it against us" could mean essentially "we didn't do it/it's not our faults," and they just want to be free to perform and make children happy again, and they're willing to do so much just to get back to their original purpose. As for "you don't know what we've been through," maybe it's talking about the shame of being taken away because of incidents they aren't connected to with Freddy and co., or maybe some other mistreatment or torture they endured (disassembly, being alone and abandoned for so long, yearning to follow their programming and make children happy, etc.) Honestly the list could go on about that part, because whatever they've been through is anyone's guess at this point. To summarize, my opinion is that they actually want to redeem themselves for what Freddy and his pals did and continue the happy existence of making children's young lives brighter and cheerier. That being said, my opinion is my opinion, so feel free to agree or disagree with it because at this point nothing is really canon.
So what I think is that the sister location takes place in a tv show studio for many reasons. One of the reasons is one of the scenes with the control panel If you look at the control panel it looks to be an audio bored like the ones to control the sound when someone is recording the show because the way the buttons look and the the speaker on the panel is how the person listens to the audio and adjusts it. Another reason for the sister location taking place in a tv studio(not my strongest) is the fact that there is no decorations because the decorations are props which are usually put away in a storage area which we don't see in the trailer. Another thing is that this place is underground which to me wipes out a lot of theories because normally there is not a underground restaurant or circus but Maybe the shows recording place was put underground to save space on the surface.Here is a question if you guys read this: What about ballerinas sharp teeth under here Exoskeleton?
My theory, this location is the repair facility for the fazbear entertainment automatics. These robots are from the sister location brought in for repairs. As we see their faces aren't working correctly (as we see with them trying to recalibrate and try and close together). Here they were sent after so many errors eventually caused a serious malfunction to occur resulting in an accident. They're all tied together, programmed together, and I think Scott has made them work more together to set you up to have to work harder to win. Like balloon boy taking our batteries so you could stun foxy
I think maybe all of the animatronics are from different locations beforehand, cause they all have traits that don't really fit together too well. There is a little girl singer, a dancing ballerina, a puppet master, and a fox that seems to be singing and dancing, I think they were each from a different establishment, but they got possessed and all of them together ended up in this underground place meant to keep them from hurting others, but made them angry because they were locked up. The reason I think they are being kept in there is that they are on pedestals in the middle of a really dark room with a bright light on them, and the security room seems to have large windows, almost like you are keeping a really close eye on them, I know this theory is unlikely, but it would be really interesting if it was.
My theory: 1: Scott left the background black, because he otherwise would reveal to much stuff, so guys like 8-bitGames would know the game to fast! 2: I think the animatronics have worked in a plane, because they say you to stay in your seat. 3: or the animatronics were used to torture people and they said they had to stay in a "seat" , but it is a torture seat or something like that. 4: The box in FNAF 4 has something to do with baby, I think her memories are in there or something else what has to do with her
I have a theory about the dancer robot's attacking style. Perhaps, she won't do the typical jumpscare, but instead her eyes will have some sort of effect to prevent you from being able to move while open and staring at you. Think of it like a Medusa effect - without turning you into stone, but just freezing you. Than, the "Rina" one can jumpscare you while that is occuring.
+8-BitGaming , This is not really a theory, but I really needed to point this out! If you look at Ballora, in the scene where it shows her face alone, you can see she has sharp teeth behind the slightly nubby ones. Also, huge fan, you guys are AWESOME!!!
I imagine the golden Freddy plush in the five nights at Freddy's 4 minnie game, hasn't had someone to haunt since the accident so maybe the new title sister location is to be taken literally and golden Freddy plush is haunting someone else in the house another location in the house that could be this child's sister. also when the final "you don't know what we've been through." played i had a strong sense that this haunting could have taken on longer then we've imagined. i think golden Freddy presence works almost like It the Clown, referenced in the fnaf4, witch is that this power whatever it may be latches itself onto a child's innocence with a friendly exterior and then slowly tries to cause each of its victims death with fear. to conclude i also image that the golden freddy must be using the souls of each victim to become even more powerful while causing its haunts. itd be really nice to hear back from anyone with feed back, and also love all the facts you guys provide with 8-BitGaming. thank you!
