So a new update for the game just released changing a bunch of stuff making this guide a little outdated however just for the run down on what 1.4.2 changes here: Updated all character descriptions. Classic PNM's second movement on Aggressive now happens 2 seconds sooner. Classic PNM now has a sound cue for its second movement. Classic The Face now pauses the killtimers of Mascot PNM, Acephalous, Undying, Sparky, Oswald, and Hourglass. Disembodied now only requires its camera to be off for 0.5s rather than 1.5s to leave. If Aggressive is also enabled, then the second camera will also require being off for 0.5s, totalling 1.0s. Disembodied will no longer spawn while The Face is in the office. Hourglass is no longer invisible in the office on Silent Mode. Hourglass' second movement now happens 3 seconds sooner. Pete's killtimer has been increased (14.6s -> 20.0s on 20 AI). PNM's killtimer is now 1 second longer. PNM will no longer stall The Face when both of them have Silent Mode active. Sparky enters your office 1.5s sooner, and its killtimer is extended by 1.5s. This should combat unfair desyncing between Sparky and Acephalous. The Face now pauses the killtimers of Mascot PNM, Acephalous, Undying, Sparky, Hourglass, PNM, and Classic PNM. The Face's Aggressive and Silent Mode mechanics have now been swapped. The Silent Mode hallucination now begins fading immediately as to not obscure the screen. Fixed Classic The Face not properly stalling killtimers Fixed Classic PNM's sound cue playing at an incorrect time Fixed an issue with The Face stalling Hourglass at the wrong times Fixed the Silent Mode hallucination not appearing properly Basically a ton of changes to silent mode and stuff also character descriptions are different along with the fact the faces aggressive and Silent changes are now *swapped* so keep that in mind other than that tho everything else stands in this guide just thought I should mention this to not confuse anyone and show them what’s different now compared to when I made this guide
Thank you so much! I’ve actually made an update to this video as to accommodate for the new version (it’s a bit outdated since eternal mode got removed) but other than that everything else is true
@@meltingrocket89ytalso because Im such a great friend, Ill give you my opinion on your video I think you could make the sound of your voice a little bit louder, it can get a bit covered up by the game audio Other than that, you did amazing, Im gonna use that video to beat the mode :3
@@iWantOreozyeah that makes sense I actually turned down the game volume from what I had it as before hoping it was enough I’d say I turned it down a decent amount it to where it worked pretty well but I definitely could of turned the game down a bit more or edited the volume of my voice itself just a tiny bit so yeah, And yeah I’m glad this could help if you do end up using, I made it since there was no guides on RU-vid and I wanted to make a in-depth guide so that people playing for the first time can understand or even just people who have played but don’t quite understand too well so yeah lol
@@iWantOreozI’ll definitely try and take some of that stuff into account again if I make another video like this some other time (since I don’t like using my voice really too much at all I’d rather just have no voice, but with a video like this I’m fine with it I suppose so yeah, but yeah I really don’t like my voice in videos so yeah I definitely won’t make videos like this often)
6:51 on that for hourglass don’t you only need to know if they took the path of a character you need to shut off a camera for since you can stand still with the lights off?
Without aggressive mode you don’t need to know if he came from anywhere as you can just shut off a camera when he’s at the desk and turn off the lights and stand still, if he’s on aggressive tho you do, I was pretty sure I remembered mentioning this in this video but I must of not (either that or I only did it for when I went over aggressive to just say when he’s not)
@@meltingrocket89yt the base game did get a patch that prevented that Strat you described from actually working by making Hourglass actually immediately attack the player regardless of kill timer when they shut off a camera when that wasn’t the defense the player was supposed to use.(All from a Strat that didn’t require the player to know the starting room by just turning off a camera at first and if that failed just stand still with the lights off which the players and Radiance didn’t like being able to work. I agree with that as Turning off the lights and standing still to make it so you only need to know if hourglass took the path of someone who you needed to turn off a camera for doesn’t defeat the main challenge of the night and is just a smart strategy by merging 2 out of the possible defenses needed into one so you only need to know if the last is needed.)
