Still don't understand how Kade Wollter (10) didn't make SA schools! One of the best players in the Country! Well done Grey but my hart bleeds for Paul Roos! Been following them all year and I can only imagine how this one hurts after some fantastic performances this year!

The only reason why is that he was contracted to go play in France to be groomed as a future French player. All the guys that took these contracts were unfairly left out of the SA schools team.

Their winning margins were to close. 2007 stands as the best first steam. Unbeaten, Beating Affies and Paul Roos with 40 points.

I don't think any country can match SA schoolboy teams purely because the SA kids are so much bigger. This advantage is no longer there at senior level however so judging based on schoolboy rugby isn't the wisest thing to do.

Love how everyone thinks SA rugby is the best, while they’ve never seen French school boy rugby as it never gets broadcasted, I mean just look at the French under 20 ffs...

If its so good why has the French club Montpellier installed a French teacher at Grey and wants to recruit Grey players to go play in France in an agreement? You do know about that arrangement eh?

Brendon Joseph Not necessarily mate. French have a different mind set on how they’re rugby is portrayed. Watching top academies play is not something that an average Frenchmen likes to watch, even though the standard is very high. It’s just something they don’t do...and never have done.

Brendon Joseph Because Grey College is unbelievable good college u melt. They don’t go recruiting the whole college do they...French have a massive recruitment program for their own, but also for players abroad, that’s why their rugby system is so rich and large...most of those young come from the UK too lol
