Almost a year after my diagnosis and things haven't got much better.
I have been experiencing new seizures (almost Tonic-Clonic like) which are very draining and hard to take and accept. I was having 5 a day throughout this admission so far.
Being a bank holiday weekend I have no idea what their plan is a as there are no specialists in today. all I know is that I need to be at home with family and friends and distractions.

Hi Chris, I pray that you get better soon and get out of the hospital. I am thankful that you are making these videos, as I can relate to them. I have battled FND for over 1 1/2 years before I received a diagnoises. The doctors never beleived me, my symptoms, and how frustrated I have been. Thankfully I am now seeing a Doctor at Mass General Hospital in Massachusetts which has their own FND neurology department, with people who know how to treat FND and treat the patients. Stay strong.

Thanks for you comment. I'm sorry you've been going through it too. This illness is so misunderstood and not really sure it ever will be. It affects us in so many ways and ways we have no control over. Keep in touch

Its great to see a manly man with FND, it reduces the stigma, we need more male advocates. I don't mind people knowing about my bipolar symptoms but i find it really hard to admit I have FND.

I'm not ashamed of my diagnosis. I feel its something we will see more of in the future after covid etc. I wouldn't wish this on anyone!
