What I find the most crazy about this mod is not just the fact that this uses stolen assets, but also the fact that in the showcase video for the mod (the one that got deleted) the title said that the mod was not only in it's V1 state, it's ALSO ONLY A DEMO!!!! EVEN THOUGH ITS 6 AND A HALF HOURS LONG AND IS 10 GIGABYTES
All I can say is... WTF!? Also, I distinctly remember seeing this mod prior to its deletion, and from the looks of it, it's pretty clear that it went for quantity over quality. Ranging from MS Paint levels of detail to almost great, all of which is due to blatant theft and lack of credit to the sources. It would be redundant to name all of the stolen assets, since there's just way too much to count. And the fact that it even managed to hold a record for sheer size alone is a testament to the FNF community for breaking the mold and pushing the boundaries in terms of fan mods. First, you covered the fastest song, then the longest, then this. I'm anticipating a video talking about the smallest mod playable mod in terms of file size. Hi, I wrote the wiki page for this mod. I never actually played this mod, so finding out it's a broken mess is new to me. But I probably shouldn't be surprised lol Some things to note: • The tweet about it being lost media came before the wiki page. It's actually how I found out about this thing • The Shantae thing is actually Shantae+Needlem0use. By now, the character is a separate entity named Nantelle • The "MS Paint" thing at 4:55 is a real .Exe named "OnMyWay". Last I recall, the character is owned by KGBepis, who was Sonic.exe's voice actor in You Can't Run Encore • Godzilla was in the files. A sprite sheet for Godzilla
I calculated that the Full-Ass FNF will be at least 8 hours long. Using the (current) minimum lengths of the songs, cutscenes, and the minimum length of the Erect remixes, then multiplied it by the amount of weeks and songs that'll be in the full game. I'm bringing this up to say that to say that the full FNF will be big, and it will be big due to the fact that it's a full game, that is also funded, and not just a fan-project. So seeing mods like this, which's only purpose is to be the biggest mod out there rather than being fun and just something made of passion, while trying to replicate the full game when it isn't even out yet kind of annoys me, it just seems like they're trying to be better than the main game and fail. + The only reason why this mod is so big is because nothing in the mod is even theirs, it's either stolen or traced. And a lot of the assets and songs are downright awful (no offense to anyone, but don't include low effort content and expect it to be taken seriously). So if I see anyone use this mod as an excuse to say "mods made the full game faster!!!" I will genuinely be mad. Just felt like getting this out of the way
So the base game will be restored but actually good? (It would be funny if they made their own sonic ripoff with red eyes to make fun of all the sonic.exe mods)
@@Cubeytheawesome The full game will feature their own assets, animations, music, etc... All from the kickstarter budget. They will use the 2mil to make the game the best it can be. So absolutely yes. Restored is literally just a bunch of stolen content and a big failed attempt at trying to be "the best mod."

It was cool that it was found & documented. However, this record will be beaten (ironically) by another Sonic.EXE revival: Vs. Sonic.EXE Restored. There was a leaked build found containing 6 hours and 20 minutes of gameplay. It mod is still in development (last I'd checked ~81%) and will be released this year. More content is planned in the future with two updates. The Devs said when it's finished, the mod will have around 200 songs.
im gonna be honest ive kinda seen something like this before when someone stole assets from a bunch of Vs Impostor mods and put it into their own, the mod is called Vs Impostor Renovated. its only one hour but still just like this.
This nightmare of a mod is definitely not worth it for 6 whole hours. It stole literally everyone's work and this shouldn't be allowed ever. i remember seeing the 6 hour long video. this mod was pretty bad when you come into account how many assets were stolen and how many glitches their were.
If this abomination made of stolen assets, normal, unused and fanmade songs, and it's own art that looks like it was made in MS paint has 6 and half hours length, and weights 10,8 gigabytes, then I'm scared of how long and how heavy will be restoration of sonic exe v1 Edit: I also counted every song of sonic exe revival fanspansion, and in total it have 102 songs, while restoration of sonic exe v1 is supposed to have 240 songs, so I'm even more scared that the mod is going to be too big for me to download
I played this mod quite a while ago and man was it painful to go through. FNF mods shouldn't be 6 hours long. I do find some of it really funny though.

Jokes aside, I believe it was a combination of the weird lewd art and the fact that the creator just doesn’t like it very much I believe they are considering rebooting it, now that they’ve grown as an artist, but I believe that’s still up in the air. Either way, hope they’re doing well, I know the creator wasn’t doing so hot mentally during the original run of the series
Yeah, Vs Sonic.exe Revival Fanspansion has gone so much crap that we can't even put in any PC, unless you have a super powerful one Honestly, those revivals needed to stop. They're getting worse and worse everyday, and most of them are pretty low-effort that they weren't even trying...
