He is a gun dealer and will probably sell the weapon, the gloves are a way to preserve the gun in new condition and to keep finger prints from the weapon. How would you like to sell a weapon that will be used in an illegal way and have your finger prints all over it ? and body oils and moisture on a weapon can deteriorate the finish when stored.
*GIFTED* none whatsoever. It has been nothing but an incredibly reliable firearm. I am sure they had issues on some of the handguns churned out but not this one.
They didn't discontinue this series. There was only one recall and most people didn't bother with it because it's not really an issue. If you push the muzzle of the gun against something hard enough to put it out of battery at a very specific spot and pull the trigger it could possibly fire when the slide returns to battery. That scenario is so unlikely that nobody really cares. Plus, if you pull the trigger that means you wanted the gun to fire in the first place. You can go on their website and see if your serial number matches the batch with the issue and if it does they'll make it right.
