@@pinatacolada7986 apart from this last albulm... still not entirely sure how I feel about it, I thought it sounded a bit more like other comercial bands at first, still have that cool little rift going and that foals sound to some of the tracks
@@benaskham8939 agree last double album only had probably enough quality songs for one album . I’ve really warmed to this one ( I’m a big TLF era fan ) . Some silly singles on here but 2001, Wild Green , Crest of the Wave and the title track are solid . The band still have a really good and diverse back catalogue to draw from too . Just a shame that with this set there was only room for one one the melancholic songs . Maybe something to do with the 1hr 10 minute slot . I would love for them to bring back maybe a few from the following : Olympic Airways , Red Socks Pugie , Milk and Black Spiders, Late Night , A Knife in the Ocean
loving these guys since the first second i got to listen to them with spanish sahara, it's incredible to find gems like this every single time an album comes out
Yiannis Phillipakis’ dad is from the same island in Greece where my grandfather came from. I listened to this song a lot around that he died, last month.
See them at Bestival when they let the first album out and it rained like we did something wrong to god!! They were always gonna be something special!! 💥
