Jerry and Henson halter and handle some more foals. There aren’t very many left to go to their new homes. For more information on horses check on our Facebook page : Facebook: / painted-desert-ranch-3...
Jerry you have such a good eye for quarter horses. You know every horse on the ranch like they are a family member. Henson ,Every one of those Colts and fillies look to you for security as you are working with them, they trust you ,and I cannot believe how easily they give to The slightest pressure when you handle them. They will never forget that early training/handling. After all, horses most common traits are an excellent memory and a herd instinct.
I am so taken with the look of these foals. They are so well proportioned, muscled and smart. They learn so quickly. Love the blue roans. Great crop of foals this year, again lol. Thanks for showing us. Take care.
SMART little bay roan filly in the round pen. I love how brave and kind she was. Huge fan of the little Trigger filly with the red halter. What a looker!! Is She a little younger??
Real nice foal crop this year thoughts and prayers for next year more rain to yield hay crop and lower hay and grain prices PTL God bless 🇺🇸 🌎 ✝️ 🙏 🐎 🐴
Sorry, 😂 but I found the dog to be particularly annoying in this video. Thanks for finally putting him away. Otherwise I absolutely enjoy watching you work with all your beautiful and well mannered horses. I particularly admire the conformation and coloring in the line you’ve bred. Thanks, watching from Kona Hawaii.
Oh it was some absolute beautiful horses so pretty very nicely built thank you so much so enjoy watching these beautiful horses. Enjoyed seeing the gentling of the colts and fillies. Thank you so much for your time and trouble to make these videos really appreciate it have a wonderful evening
Having A German Shepard come charging out at me would scare me to. Of course when I got done with him charging or biting anything would be a thing of the past.
Jerry do you ever ride a horse? Haven't seen you ride on your channel or the PDR. Are any of your Broodmares broke/ trained to be ridden? Jerry do ware Silk Scarfs/ Wild Rags around your neck?
I sure used to ride a lot. Not so much anymore. We have a lot of broke mares. That also depends on time. I do wear a lot of scarves in the winter. It gets a little nippy.
How old are these fools they don’t even look like they’ve been weaned yet? And you need to get the dog away from these poor Colts & foals , they are obviously already over stressed enough at being separated from there mare! And then you got that dog yapping at them. I like all animals but you gotta look out for both of them. They look like good well bred stock but I don’t like the way they’re being handled. You seem to be money motivated more than the good care of horses as companions. 😮 I am especially disturbed to see you putting first handled Colts and fillies in a trailer without dividers between each one. Injury & accident prone behavior. 🥺
Its not ideal in some peoples books...but when Loki gets a face full of hoof...guess he will learn to not charge the rear ends. As for foals, it is better for them to learn to stay calm around bad dogs that may charge them on a trail
Everyone's breaking out the heavy coats🧥 and gloves 🧤 so you know it's cold! Keeping all of your beautiful land 🌵🌾 going is so much work! Gorgeous strawberry 🍓 filly by Trigger!
