The annoying thing is that I was really enjoying it too! But after 28+ hours on it, i noticed the player count drop off significantly and i more or less kept matching with the same people and queues got longer and longer. Ive had to abandon it simply because i have to

I feel like half the people who drop this game play by themselves and don't even try the mission mode. This game is much more fun with friends

Looks kind of fun. games like this are fun to play to take you out of the seriousness of story based games. And I'm all for it

Has potential. But smash the star mode needs some work. At a certain point it’s just stars running away for 10 mins.

Honestly I don’t agree with this review. In my opinion this game is fun for me. If you were competitive in any splatoon game, then you’ll be on here as well. I think for a free game from plus it’s good. The only thing I would add is that you should probably pick up multiple characters cause if you get used to only one and someone picks that character before you then you’re kinda shit outta luck. So always have multiple back ups but so far each person I’ve tried is fun. I used to play a lot of PvP on splatoon 3 so I’ve been having a great time.

Keep in mind. Splatoon 3 has a lower metacritic user score than Foam Star. I do believe that both games are great, but the gameplay is alot faster in foam imo.

It's an OK game, but the lack of content & price of emotes and cosmetics is ridiculous. I do love the late 90's early 00's esthetic of the game, tho. Reminds me or Nights & Jetset Radio.

Their monetization is rough, I would give it a fair try but the SE idiots decided not to make this game for PC, meanwhile Helldivers 2's success while being a playstation game with day 1 PC release.

I gave it a try, it's pretty boring after a couple hours.

I highly doubt this game will last 2 weeks or a month. The only "good" that game has is for artists to post their work on R34 which i will pay a visit

I tried it. Played one round and found it to be crap. Uninstalled after that.

Maybe you dont like it cuz u suck. I’ve never in my 40+ hours of playing have ever died to one of the story or team missions. The fact that you are dying consistently to one of the first introduced and easy-to-deal-with mobs in shooting game history is sad. Or that not your footage an I’m raging for no reason. But anyways. Yeah the game has problems. It’s no splatoon that’s for sure. But its fun to mess around in. At the very least it scratches my splatoon itch as a strictly ps5 player. If anyone is interested, and/or on the fence. I wouldn’t buy it in place of other better games, but it does give the closest splatoon experience possible on another console. Unless crayola scoot is your thing.

THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING IN A LOT OF ONLINE VS GAMES, LET ME HAVE AN ACTUAL MATCH, THIS GAME I GET TWO CHILLS MATCH OVER EVERYTIME TF, THE MATCHES ARE ALWAYS LEGIT 4 MINS, THEN IT DOES NOT REMATCH YOU, YOU HAVE TO GO BACK IN VS AN RE START MATCH MAKING EVERYTIME!!!!! FAILED THE GAME FAILED BACK TO FORTNITE AN COD!!!!!!
