SoCal eagles are known to lay eggs as late as in late April, and so far Jackie and Shadow have been showing consistent nesting behavior: nesting materials, food gifts, pancaking and mating. We will patiently wait and see what they have in store for us.😊

Jackie is very picky about her home decor. Shadow was terrific in delivering the new furniture but Jackie will certainly take care of the arrangement. She has such fine taste.

Moving the sticks around is hilarious! That one stick with all the small twigs attached is never ending of where it goes. Watching Jackie and Shadow is so much fun! There are times when l could help out. But they might move the stick(s) back to the original spot 😅

I watch maybe a dozen different nests; I even watch one in Romania. I didn’t even know they had bald eagles in Romania? But, shadow is the hardest working eagle I have ever seen! He takes care of the nest. He takes care of his lady. He hardly sleeps but maybe a few hours at night. ❤❤❤ #builditwithsticks #buildthatnest

Love watching them also. But, I think some of the moving around is actually them both trying to break off the piece. The larger ones won't break as they wish. Just my observation. Being a woman always with an explanation.

It seems that Jackie doesn’t like the sticks too close to the nesting area while Shadow will build right up to the bowl if Jackie would let him.😂 Jackie has a full time job controlling her Engineer😢
