Great video!!! I have always known Focal for being a high quality brand for their speakers!!! I know they have the higher end level speakers at a much steeper price than some of the lower end one's!!! Both sound amazing!!! Then again you get what you pay for!!! The only thing that I believe was left out in this video, was the wattage and the price for each speaker that was being introduced!!! Otherwise the video was great!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you, Jose! You can find the specs including power ratings and current pricing for each model here: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYALc921/S-R2NCqT27EKg/shopsearch/focal_auditor.html
I’ve never heard of of these speakers until a few years ago and decided to give them a shot. They are some of the best speakers I’ve ever heard. It’s the first aftermarket car speaker that has a decent woofer that won’t distort under heavy loads. The tweeters are just so natural sounding without being to harsh and hissy. They are also amazing speakers if you don’t have an amp. These speakers will get very loud without distorting being powered by just a head unit. I had an amp blow so I’m now using them with an alpine head unit. I’ve head jl audio speakers. Polk speakers and many types of infinity spekars. None of them come close to the natural good quality sounds the focals reproduce. Is recommend just icu series powered by a head unit over jl audios with an amp.
Thank you for commenting with your experience, that is great info🥰👏! I was a believer as soon as my first listen with Focal, some of the most natural sounding car speakers my ears have ever had the pleasure to listen to. I use the Focal Flax 6.5" speakers in my daily driver!
I ordered the Focal RSE-130 for my dash/front door Focal RCX-690 for my rear doors & the Alpine S-DB8V-TRK Sub , all on sale , for my 2022 Ram 1500 Quad cab. They arrive tomorrow ! The install is next moth so I have time to decide on an amp .I may need something like the PAC AmpPRO AP4-CH41 as well .I was glad to find out i can talk to a rep about some of the ,ore technical issues
Wonderful speakers from a trusted site! Just installed my 6.5" component speakers and am very impressed with the results! Crutchfield is also pretty great to purchase from.
Nice overview with Focal and Auditor lineup. Been thinking of replacing my stock speakers with Auditors or Alpine's S-S65. Which would be better for me? Im not planning on changing my head unit. Just speakers. I own civic 2022.
Both companies make fantastic speakers. Is your Civic the sedan or hatchback? Does it have the 4- or 8-speaker system? Or is it the Bose system perhaps?
Could you guys help me decide? Planning to change car speaker (toyota fortuner(4speaker system)) should I go for Focal audiotor or infinity refrence or alpine ss65c no amp stock head unit
Hi Anas, we can recommend a good brand match for your preferences; but we don't have fit info for your vehicle. Do you have fit info you can provide? Also, do you have a U.S. address you can ship to? What types of music do you listen to most often?
Please HELP !!!!! I just had sound installed in my car and when there is a heavy deep low bass , the sub cuts out or dips eg( played the weeknd the hills , when the heavy bass comes the sub bass is gone and then comes back on the second part. Part comes again with bass and it cuts out again) the amp is IPX-9000.1 ICE POWER. sub is a 12inch Targa...Took it back to the guy and he just keeps trying to sell me more expensive things.
possibly sub amp gain is too high. amp tuning should be done w/radio eq set at zeros for bas/mid/highs__at a tolerable listening level, adjust amp gain up from the lowest setting (all the way left; e.g. 7 o'clock), then turn the gain up until you hear distortion (e.g. 12 o'clock), then turn the gain back down some (e.g. 11 o'clock) or until the distortion is gone. Also, high gain and low gain are independent of each other and should be adjusted as such to achieve a balance sound (i.e.: lows not over-powering highs and vice versa...)...oh, and adding an Audio Control LC2i (or similar) doesn't hurt either.
Checking gains are a great idea if the only issue is that the sub amp cuts out. Does anything else such as lights dimming happen when the amp is cutting out? If it is, then the amp is trying to get more power than your vehicle can give. The common solutions are to perform the big three upgrade, install a second battery, or install a higher amperage alternator.
@@crutchfield i do have pioneer champion series 1675v2 in the doors. will power them with a pioneer 100watt rms x 4 channel. i just want to add 2 more speakers at the back but looking for high quality sound/vocal. saw that infinity/JBL do offers great speakers like the 609c, or the infinity 9623ix. but found that focal also gives nice sound. still dont know what to choose.
The Infinity Kappa 693M offer top notch sound quality and a good match for the 100 RMS power rating your amp offers: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYALc921/p_108K693M/Infinity-Kappa-693M.html?tp=91
@@crutchfield Which series in Focal? Shud I use component in the front and coaxial at the back or component in the back as well. And will 2 way amp suffice or will I need a 4 way amp. Not gonna use a woofer (takes up too much space)
We haven't researched that vehicle, so we don't have any fit info or installation items for it. If you want to take some measurements and reach out to one of our advisors, they will be happy to try and match something up for you. The best amp will depend on the speakers you choose; but, a 4-channel will be ideal.
