Hows the sound quality?

@@renamamiya9128, I switch between the iFi Zen DAC V2 with and without TruBass via the 4.4mm balanced jack, XLR with Xduoo TA-10 and the Toppings D90SE with A90, all from Apple Music and my own collections of FLAC and DSDs. I started with my usual favorites with Amber Rubarth’s Strive, O-Zone Percussion Group’s Suite for Drummer and Percussion, and Jazz Variants. Hits on drums and percussions are precise and impactful, staging sounded beyond the semi-circle in front of me so it felt like I am sitting rather forward with the band, sounds even came from slightly behind my ears. It was exciting and energetic, very dynamic with very good visceral punches of bass while treble gets a little too high for me but not unbearably sharp. I went on to classical symphonies and this headphone carries the wide spectrum well and controlled, not overblown. I can hear big drum hits that rumbled and resonated till it went silent at 1:40 of Symphony No. 2 in C minor “Resurrection”. For fun, I played Pink Panther’s theme. Bass was brilliant and trumpet was lifelike. I went on to some chinese female vocalists and Spanish Harlem by Rebecca Pidgeon. These female vocals were brilliant and sweet. I even watched on RU-vid Sophia Wong’s Cutting Love (黄绮珊 - 剪爱）. She cried while singing this song and I can hear the change of her voice as she attempted to control herself while continuing to belt out this heart-wrenching song. On to the more different types of songs from Michael Jackson’s Wanna be starting something and Billie Jean. I Miss You by Adele, Next Episode by Snoop Dog, all sounded fun, very good and spacious. With Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N’ Roses, the electric guitar was a tad unnatural but not a major issue for me. With some “live” tracks, I had goosebumps as if I was there at the concerts. These are my personal opinions. I have also been listening to the Hifiman Arya a stealth Magnet version and also loving it.

I think so. I didn't actually like the OG, but I do like these.

Yes you can, and they will sound like $5 headphones from Wal-Mart. $1,500 headphones obviously aren’t necessarily for everyone, but for those who have a real passion for music, then it will be worthwhile for many. This is also a product that if cared for will last for most of your life.

Haven't heard high end headphones have you? Either audition them, or maybe just stick to the $5 buzzer.
