Focal E 25 KX (toyota fortuner gen2) 

years after this upload.. they still sound very much like the first day!!! focal subs are divine

​​@@polinae11202010recently purchased 2 focal E 30kx 12's.. sounded decent in medium size ported box but when sealed, they really performed.. sound quality pretty impressive but output not so much.. compared againts the alpine X-W12D4 & SWX-1243D.. Alpines had more output with better sound quality.. Either way Focal is a good well rounded subwoofer(S)

How's the sub going? How much power did you put into it ?

Jl audio are meant for bassheads. This brand is meant for people who are audiophiles.

@@josealfredfernandesfocal is very nice but I run a 12w7 and I don’t think the focal get nearly as low ….. not even close

Yeah it can of course. However the box enclosure will surely be very important to reach the desired frequency

Fore sure,what do you prefer for this woofer. How much rms you give them?

@@Edinxg rms? Dont matter so much to me because the unit is built for SQ everyday driven car. It is rated for 600 watt rms but i have it powered by a 430watt rms amplifier. For what i listen is more than enough

How much does the subwoofer displace? About 5 liters?

So the box should be made 30 liters dirty?

that would be a very good combination.. may I know car youre installing it into?

@@polinae11202010 a 1997 nissan 240sx. I have the alpine x-a90v Amp that will be powering it. But which setup would you recommend? 1 10 inch e 25 Kx or 2 focal sub P 20f 8 inch subs?

@@nightowl1654 by all means, a dual 8 will always sounds louder vs single 10. On a same ground perspective a dual 8 will sound deeper. The question will be how do you intend to listen to your music? If your like me who loves a not so loud music listening then i suggest a single 10 will do all the trick.

@@polinae11202010 I do both, loud music but low at times. Do you recommend ported or sealed? I listen to a lot of rock. But would like like to do sealed for more accurate bass

@@nightowl1654 i always fancy sealed box, for my own kind of listening i prefer it. Many would suggest if you want it loud and easier go ported, these focals works better in ported box

@@polinae11202010 I think you should go bigger maybe 40litres if you have the space going over manufactures spec isn't too bad I'm currently building a 12" subwoofer in a 40l sealed enclosure.

@@maincharacter2677 i could always do that no problem 😉 actually its now running on ah 30 liters box.. it sounded bigger and harder but thats the maximum i am going since the goal of this build was for sq listening..

Angkol-Biker Haha good enough for me it's rare for people to go sealed nowadays. I only went much bigger so I can get more lfe response. 30 litres is perfect!
