Just got in 2 of the new focal E 30kx subs for a custom build at work and had 1 of my older ones there as well so thought id do a bit of a side by side
The older KX33 looking very show car compared to the new one but where its more simple in looks makes up for it with double the power handling - very different subs but at the end of the day even though in the same series line

The E 30 kx is Made in China the other is Made in France. I guess China caught up or even surpassed

I wish I had room in my garage for that work bench. I was expecting to dislike the new woofer but I think it looks quite nice. Love your work

Pretty decent sub to only have a cast basket. So will you be doing anymore box builds? And what are the 4 focal subs going in?

Yeah more builds coming for sure, just been getting all the gear together for new build, and the focals are going in the Jacakroo going to be building a new front stage next for the jackaroo

I want to thank you posting these videos. Seriously. I love higher end speakers. I have a 13w7ae ported with a viewing window and a sealed IDMax v4 15” (really 16.22”). I switch out between the two setups every month or two just for fun. I also have two 12w6v3 subs, a Polk SR 12” and 2 Planet Audio VC12D subs (ammmazing SQ) from around 1999. I am thinking of adding the Focal E 30kx to my collection. It looks beautiful. Gonna build a box with two viewing windows, one from the side and one from the back. All lit up too. Keep posting these vids!

I have a pair of the FOCAL E 30 KX subwoofers, they will go into a custom made sealed enclosure.

hey im getting 2 of them. How are they? im coming from 2 12" type R's that are 1500rms total

no defiantly not, these 2 subs (the new ones) have been taking close to twice there rated power for months now, still fantastic subs

Im thinking about buying the Focal k2 10 inch subwoofer. What is your opinion when it comes to comparing these to the W7s?

well in Aus there is a huge price difference and that would pretty much make my decision for the K2 tho if your in the US and the price is very similar id probably go the W7

Westsidesnooker 2020 2x JLw6 10” in a sealed box. Less volume, much more punch. so much punch it takes your breath away. I’d also recommend using an Audioconrol Epicentre to give you some better bass fq in your rock music.

I want to buy a single focal e25kx sub. and i would like to upgrade in the future and get a second e25kx sub to add to my system. But im concerned about what you said about the yellow color changes over time. I wouldn't want the second one i buy after, to look uneven cosmetically, what do you think about that?. Your response will be very much appreciated.

Hi, I recently did my build with 6 focal K series subs and 5 were all the same and 1 was a much lighter yellow now about 2 months later and they all look the same, it dosn't take long for them to change so I wouldn't worry to much

@@AustraliasBiggestBassChannel thank you very much. I noticed on the focal kseries subs specs that there is a smaller ported enclosure, 0.78 cubic feet 22 liter, and a bigger 1.0 cubic feet 30 liter. What advantages i git going in the smaller enclosure?. I know the smaller enclosure will not hit as low the bigger one, but in what advantages i would have in the smaller ported?.

I have a focal kx3 active setup with the kx3 6.5 midwoofers in the stock location. I would like to add a second set of midwoofers custom installed in the same doors. Wiuld the focal k2 e130k 5.25 midwoofer work, and increase midbass response?. I would be using a different set of amp channels to power them as well.

Artie6937 hey mate think you just bought my 2 morel 10’s haha but the morels need less air space and need less mounting depth too, similar power handling They are both really nice subs tho, when your comparing high end to high end its always tough
