This is most helpful. Please do more with the Olympus. Last year I traded all my Canon equipment for Olympus. I have back problems and considering I am 79, I had to have lighter weight equipment. I am very happy with Olympus, and will be glad for more of your videos on various shooting modes for Olympus.
I did the same with all my Nikon gear for mainly the same reasons. I also wanted to go to mirrorless and I did like the features of the M1 III very much. I got my initial shipment around the middle to the end of December and have been mostly playing with it and setting up the custom functions. I only got the 12-100 f4 so far, because the 100-400 has been on backorder since I ordered it at the middle of January.
Thanks and I am sorry for the late reply! I'm so new, and stupid, when it comes to this that I wasn't aware of the replies! More videos will be coming soon!

Hi Joe. This is all new to me, being a new user. I have the Mark 3, but I cant find the stacking option. Is this because I need to load some firmware? Great videos full of great information.
Joe, yesterday I tried shooting Focus Bracketing with multiple shots on. My focus point was in the middle, and I selected 9 shots with 5 differentials. When I downloaded the images, for every RAW image I had a jpeg. I did not have 9 shots and 1 jpeg. I have my camera set up to store all images as RAW. What did I do wrong if anything?
A wooden ruler, Joe? You are in my timeline. Seriously tho, I have been experimenting with stacking primarily, and I seem to be seeing the raw files and jpg files on the memory card. I was concerned that I asked for saving to the cards as raw on card 1 and jpg on card 2. But, I didn't. I correctly have raw to cards 1 & 2. So, I was wondering if the camera (M1 Mark III) is saving stacking as raw and jpg. BTW, it's not one jpg its the series. I think I did see the composite file as jpg. Thanks.
Yes, I do love these cameras and I am sorry for the late reply! I'm so new, and stupid, when it comes to this that I wasn't aware of the replies! More videos will be coming soon!
I just started to play with the automatic focus stacking in my EM1-MIII today but there's one weird quirk. Usually when you use a flash, you're limited to a maximum of 1/250 ss, but I used 2 different speedlites and I can't get above 1/50 ss when I'm using the focus stacking feature. Do you have any idea how to get it to be able to go above 1/50 when using a flash?
Hello. I went to use the focus stacking option on my EM5 III today in conjunction with the self-timer. However, the self-timer option was not available while focus stacking was turned on. Do you know if there is a different way to turn on the self-timer for use with Focus stacking?
Hi Joe. I tried some more focus Bracketing and chose 30 frames at width of "1", on Continuous Low manual shutter, and found that the camera just kept shooting beyond the 30 frames. It never stopped. Then, without changing the settings I took two more sets at 50 frames. Why didn't all of them stop at 30 frames?
re: E-M1 Mark III with 12-100 pro lens. My focus bracketing setting is greyed out. There was talk on the Tube that the 12-100 pro lens, on the M1 Mark II, is not focus stacking compatible. But, I used it yesterday on the Mark III and it worked fine. Halp.
If anyone else needs to know, I figured it out by elimination of changes I recently made. 1) I set the camera to operate the lens on manual or AF, by turning the MF ring (without shifting the clutch to manual). 2) I left the clutch enabled in case I would want to use that. That was the problem. The first thing I tried was to disable the clutch (which made some sense since I had just enabled AF and MF. It worked. My focus bracketing was no longer grayed out. Hope this helps someone else.
I am wondering if we can pixel shift while we are using focus stacking mood, means; can I get a 80 mp final stacked photo from the camera and having the both options functioning in the same time? thank you
You should add a line to the description that this will only work with the pro lenses and the 60mm f2.8 macro lens. The focus stacking menu is grayed out. Good video though.
