In qualifying it was all about learning the GP section and making sure we could learn it as quick as possible and put the car near the front of the grid. Each lap we were getting quicker and quicker, finally when the session was over we found ourselves sitting in pole position with a time of 1:51.4 and a 0.6 second gap to second meaning we picked up an extra 30 points from qualifying.
Race 1 we had a poor start off the line leaving us vulnerable to the chasing pack however as the tyres started to get to temperature mid race we starting pulling a gap to second and putting in the fastest lap of the race with a 1:52.0 and coming away with the race win.
