It's time for another fabric challenge! Today we are doing a Focus Fabric Challenge where we will have to match quilt kits using the same focus fabric! Love seeing the time it takes even then to choose their supporting fabrics... I think my fabric store is afraid I've moved in on the days I go to select fabrics for a new quilt!

Fran scored best on the hummingbirds, hands down. John and Donna tied on that one, for me. On the second fabric, 1st Fran, a close second 2nd John, 3rd Donna . Great challenge, this was fun. Do this again.

I loved both of Fran’s. Colors I love. I also really liked John’s quilt with the landslide pattern. I have wanted to use this pattern was unsure about fabric choices. He has inspired me.

I do like bold pattern and color in easy sets so Fran caught my eye. However, I like all of them enough to make any one of them. Had a lot of laughs watching this one. Keep the fun coming.

Well I do agree with the team. My style of picking colors matched Fran. But I have to say that I did love the fabric choices for all were nice and I'd can see picking those fabrics also. Great job Fabric Cafe! Another great video to inspire.

As I was watching I realized that this is exactly like I pick my fabric for the 3-Yard Quilt. I love the way the books all have the patterns on the back. I visualize the focus fabric in each pattern. Open the book to the pattern I like best out of that book. I have several books open at the same time. Then I select fabrics 2 and 3. Then I do more visualization and pick my pattern out of the four or five. In the meantime I may have another focus fabric that will look good in one of the other patterns and I pull those fabrics and put those in line for my next project. I am a bold color choice person like Fran!

Donna is just the ultimate fabric matcher. Her second one was probably my most favorite of them all. John said trees and I’m like “where” but he did manage to bring out trees in his design and that was super artistic. Y’all are all amazing in my book!
