30th Jan 2007 The Cavern club Liverpool. There was about 10 people there when we went on but soon busied up. Our third gig and the last as a four piece, the next gig was 2 nights later with Phil Hearn joining us on guitar, keyboards and backing vocals. We were first band on and after us was the mighty Hotwire with young Jonny doing some blistering Hendrix renditions and then headlining was blues legend Carvin Jones. I got asked to get up with Carvin to jam on the last couple of tunes but knowing he tuned to E flat and my guitar being in standard tuning and a Floyd Rose with locking nuts I politely declined but young Jonny got up with standard tuning not realising and had a bit of a nightmare. Always loved this tune and Stuey was cooking on the bazooki. The other lads were buzzing playing the Cavern because of the Beatles connection but I was more buzzing the fact David Gilmour played there with Paul McCartney. Not the best of gigs to be honest we were still finding our feet but a good learning curve and after this gig with Phil on board we picked it up a few gears.
