Number 7 is such a good point! I love every single of your videos, but applying the knowledge to real-world, complex problems is still difficult. If we are to move forward we need to pick up knowledge where it is, and I ask myself whether research papers is a good format to do this (starting my PhD in January 2022)... I find it really difficult to translate them into actual code. That being said, your longer videos / video series are really appreciated. Your way of communicating knowledge beats every research paper I have read ;)

It would be nice if u can show an example of NLP and RL in a dialogue Q&A environment (from scratch would be nice). Or RL and non image classification task. Also deepfakes (gan) and explainable ai would be nice too. For example non image classification using nn or xgboost and rules explaining the results... You are great Explainer👍

Thanks so much Henk, took notes on all of these. Actually got something in explainable ai available rn. Will start building some vids up!

Thanks a lot, it's a great channel. But you said that reinforcement learning is known as 'semi-supervised learning'. Are you sure?
@NicholasRenotte
@NicholasRenotte 3 года назад
Hmmm, yeah on second thought (and with a bit of research) I think I'd keep RL in it's own category rather than lumping it into semi-supervised! Thanks for the feedback @Mohamed!

Would you say that being able to pick out the REAL opportunities to make effective use of ML is a skill all by itself? As opposed to a lot of what I’m seeing in companies getting started on the journey who have a lot of data but are treating ML as more of a “solution looking for a problem”?
@NicholasRenotte
@NicholasRenotte 3 года назад
I definitely would @Mike! I think it's really important to flip that idea on its head. It's important to find the problem first then look at whether ML or DS is a likely solution. Often what happens though is that people are eager to use the tech without evaluating whether it's actually going to drive any real business benefit.

Hey Nick, can you make a video on sign language to text conversion using AI
@NicholasRenotte

Yah, we're kinda doing it here already: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pDXdlXlaCco.html was there something else I could add?

@@NicholasRenotte Yes Sir, can you implement two functionalities such as, just after recognizing each alphabets or words append it and show it on a screen as sentence or after predicting words convert it to audio for blind.
